No. Subscriptions unlock site functionality, content beyond the SRD has to be purchased.
Why is there no drow race in the basic races even though its in the PH?
Because it's not in the SRD.
Seriously, there needs to be some sort of page that spells all this stuff out in big, bold, neon-flashing lights, BEFORE people make an account here. In fact, you shouldn't even be allowed to post until you've read it.
Is there any timeline on containers and/or mounts/pets? This is becoming a real issue for my group, especially since I'm enforcing the Variant Encumbrance rules.
There is no drow race available for you because you have not purchased the Player's Handbook on D&D Beyond, I suspect. The SRD has less content than the PHB.
Then ill just keep using the free/ cheaper apps that work instead of supporting a cash grab th PH and all its contents should be free and all other content should cost you
Is anyone checking the IP's of all these one post accounts that say the same thing over and over and over again about codes and how it should all be free and being ripped off, etc.? It only takes an email to make a Twitch account after all.
There appears to be a rather important issue with Bard once they hit level 2 and get 'Jack of all Trades'. This ability is supposed to let you take 1/2 of your proficiency bonus and add it to any skill you are not proficient in. What the character sheet does (and I assume this gets calculated on the back end) is list the bard as proficient with every skill and apply the bonus where the bard doesn't have really have proficiencies.
On it's face this is a simple design choice because it pre-calculates all the information for me. The downside is now I no longer have any idea (at a glance) of what I am and am not proficient in. My personal opinion is that this should be left as skill text a la Sneak Attack. Front loading the information just leads to more confusion on what should be a clean, easily read sheet.

I think this is just a bug on the sheet export. If you look at the online "view character" screen, the Jack of All Trades bonus is computed, but they're not marked as proficient.
I have the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide unlocked (as a player in my DMs campaign), but the Duergar (Dwarf, Gray) and Tiefling Variant from that book are not available to me as race options in the Character Builder. I can access the full SCAG compendium, including those entries, but I can't create them as characters.
Did you use the link for your campaign when creating the character?
I did not! I'm not seeing a "create a character" option from my DM's Campaign, but I already have a character there; are you only allowed one?

If you didn't use the DM's link, are you sure the character is "in" the campaign?
Also, it's possible that the DM only bought the compendium for SCAG and not the entire thing.
Ah! I see. It's not sufficient to go to my DM's Campaign page from "My Content / Campaigns"; you have to actually go to the page directly from the link provided. (I.e, copy the link, and paste it into another tab.) That did the trick. Thanks!
On the monk character sheet shouldn’t my abilities and spells gained from my monastic tradition be viewable somewhere other than the class feat tab? It’d be nice if the monk could gain access to the spells tab for these. Also, shouldn’t Ki under limited use display all of my uses for it instead of just the abilities gained at level 2?
You have to purchase the 30$ book online to get access to stuff that should have been included originally, stuff that normally comes with the physical book? Is that why most of the classes only have one sub-class? Janky as hell cash grab, shamefull

Licencing rights. That's all that should have to be said.

Hey, guess what? That stuff that comes with the physical version? STILL COMES WITH THE DIGITAL VERSION. It's honestly amazing that so many people who can't be bothered to read other posts (or think logically) manage to go through the account creation process for the sole purpose of whining.
Some feedback: (not sure if this has been asked before). The final eSheet is good, as is the exportable one but there is definitely room to improve.
1. The features section is cluttered.
I've a level 2 aasamir paladin. There is no way to remove/ hide info you really just don't care about. I don't need to know that I normally live to 160 or even that at level two I can cast spells (I know this by the fact I have spells now). What's more having radiant consumption there when I can't use it yet isn't helpful. This is when I'm only level 2! I can't imagine how much of a pain it'd be to try and find a class feature at higher levels.
Some kind of Summary of features section would be VERY helpful. Previously I've used orcpub2 which was great for this kind of thing.
Which bring me to my next point.
2.
When you try and create a printable sheet it has all the "headings" of the features and traits rather than the feat you chose. Here is my paladin as an eg:
Paladin: - Divine Sense - Hit Points - Lay on Hands Pool - Proficiencies - Divine Smite - Fighting Style
Having "-Fighting Style" doesn't help me at all. As the info I need to know is which fighting style I have and what it does. Once again I've only orcpub2 to compare too but in it's features/traits section it'd produce a summary of a skill which is so helpful when you are starting out as a new class or character which is SO much more helpful. eg.
Great Weapon Fighting Style. When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit
Same kind of issue in the generated proficiencies section: for some reason they aren't broken up into their type instead it's a alphabetical list. Same info but one is "ugly"/ hard to get the info you want from, and the other is "elegant" / easy to get the info from eg
Athletics
Cartographer's Tools
Charisma Saving Throws
Heavy Armor
Insight
Intimidation
Light Armor
Martial Weapons
Medium Armor
Persuasion
Shields
Simple Weapons
Wisdom Saving Throws
vs
Weapons: Simple, Martial
Armour: Light, medium, heavy
Tools: etc
That's from my fist bit of playing around with the character builder.
This may have been mentioned already, but it's something that I just thought about.
It seems kind of counter-intuitive to make an attack with a ranged weapon, then have to scroll down to my items to subtract an arrow or bolt or whatever.
There should be a way to link the ammo to the weapon so I can subtract the ammo used directly from the Attacks section (or whatever the equivalent is after the overhaul).

No. You need to purchase the digital version of the PHB in order to access the items within it.
