Question. When new books are released, will they show up in the Marketplace at the time of release or at the delayed time that they would show up on Amazon? Should I be looking for ToA on Sept 8th or on the 19th?

Thank you. So far my group and I are loving the product. I'm excited to run ToA from DnD Beyond. If this works as well as I think it will, this is the way I'll buy all my books going forward.
The ability to 'gift' someone content would be cool. Like if I wanted to purchase a copy of a book for my DM, I should be able to hit that button and either enter his email or his user ID and buy it FOR him.
SUGGESTION: A new, separate focused feedback thread for Adventures?
Now that I have had a few days to look through the adventures (I bought SKT ans LMoP so far) a couple of things have jumped out at me.
1) In the Compendium//Adventures tab, ALL the adventures are in reverse order of publication (Tales first, down to Lost Mine last). That's fine I suppose, but it would seem to make sense to also have those resorted so that the content I've purchased is at the top. Same in the Rules section really. It would save scrolling to get to the books that I've bought already.
2) In terms of presentation within an adventure: The format for 5E for monsters or NPCs within an adventure is to bold the monster name, which in DDB is now a hotlink. That's awesome. But, in many cases, it could be a slightly customize version of the monster or NPC, so the generic statblock isn't really accurate. I'm seeing it primarily with the NPCs. From Lost Mine, for example, in Cragmaw Castle: "King Grol is a fierce old bugbear with 45 hit points", "Grol is attended by Snarl, a wolf with 18 hit points" or "Gundren Rockseeker, a dwarf commoner". Where there is something called out as different than the default, I'd like to see a custom statblock. In these cases, adjusted HP for the monsters, and in the case of a custom NPC, have it revised to reflect the racial change in abilities and traits.
Save your energy. I understand the business model, but making this profitable is not my problem. I want them to succeed but I also want to feel like I'm getting value for my money and right now it doesn't feel that way. I already own the books, so comparing the prices here to the price of the books is pointless. The only thing that matters here is the value of the tool on top of the books, and the price does not match that.
This is a feedback thread and I am giving feedback. While I'm sure they appreciate people like you carrying water for them, they need to hear from people like me who aren't ready to jump in with both feet even more. I don't want them to find themselves in the red, holding their heads and asking, "How could this happen? All our feedback was so positive!"
I feel this was designed to be more of an alternative than a supplement like you're describing. And they are priced accordingly.
I feel that is a big mistake and will hurt them in the long run.

Seconded.

I have already bought a ton of 5e content. Is there anyway I can add it to my account? I can post pictures of it, and my receipts, along with a picture of my username and the date or whatever.
I'm not going to purchase content again, so hopefully we can work something out. Thanks.
Staff have said that this is not going to be possible.
Darn it! You're right, I totally forgot about public libraries. Those make it a lot harder to prove you actually bought the book. But I do want to keep looking, maybe I'll find something.
Filters for the Marketplace would be nice. Most notably a filter for content that is unlocked or not, but also content filters (spells, monsters, items, etc) could be useful as well.
I might be jumping the gun, but I'd also like options to be alerted for new content and/or sales. :)
I have already bought many of the source books, is there a way to get the online content without buying it twice?
No, for two reasons. First, you didn't buy your books from the company responsible for D&D Beyond. Second, no one's been able to come up with a viable method for proving that you own the books.

I am not sure what you think anyone is being "scammed" about? They have always been very clear in answering all the questions in the forum that all the free content used in the beta will remain free for use in DDB, but if you want to add premium content, then you have to pay for it, though you can decide how little or how much you wish to purchase (sections or whole books). They offer both a launch discount for the core books and a bundle discount for all official 5e content, but they aren't going to allow you to unlock content just because you bought a hard copy of the book--they answered that question several times. No one mislead anyone, they were clear from the beginning. By definition, it is the opposite of a scam. If getting the premium content in digital format and being able to use it in the toolsets is not something you see value in, then you can continue to use the free version of DDB. Adieu to you.
From WOTC's perspective, if you already bought the hard copy of the book, then they made their money from you. If you are going to stick with the physical books and you like D&D, then you will continue buying physical books in the future, so they will continue to make money off of you. They don't really lose anything from you choosing not to switch over to DDB since they believe enough people will be willing to buy premium content for DDB even if they bought the physical books (and individuals who never bought physical books because the price was too high will now happily purchase the cheaper digital books), so it is not worth it to them to drastically lower the digital content price to convince more price conscious customers to switch over to DDB. If you are happy with the books, then you will buy more books, and they sell the books for a premium that is above just the cost to produce a physical book, so they will make more money off of each of your individual purchases.
Curse is a separate company that licensed the right to produce digital content for WOTC. They made a huge investment getting DDB set up and they have no interest in helping WOTC subsidize individuals who bought physical books. They feel they did enough research to determine the highest price the market will bear, and they priced the premium digital content accordingly. If they and WOTC turn out to be wrong, then like any business, they will adjust their prices, but since the official launch of premium content they seem to be doing well.
So I bought the PHB DMG and MM 2 days ago. I considered buying the Legendary Pack. Now it has dropped in price to $218.00 is there anyway to refund my $60 or put it towards the Legendary Pack?

A filter to separate adventure guides and non-adventure guides.

Easy Purchase Whole Book
In addition to the "View Purchase Options" button, have a "Purchase Complete Book" button to quickly add entire book to cart.

Stella Diamant, Human Rogue 17 (Swashbuckler), The Exploits of Misfit Company
Kat, Medtech, Cyberpunk: Red
Shi, Changeling Bard 4 (College of Spirits), Tyrant's Grasp
Dani, Human Artificer 9 (Armorer), Skulls and Starships
DM, Project Point (Teams Scimitar and Longsword)
Everything Else!
I noticed that you can't read the disclaimers in the books. Can that be added?
