I'd like to suggest a FAQ and/or Tutorial section for DND Beyond. Add it as another tab (not a forum post), or even a sub tab of something like Campaigns or Compendiums. A starting point of what it should include is:
An overall "things you can do" with DND Beyond (did you know you can create your own monsters? did you know that you could link spells and monsters directly in your campaign notes? etc.)
How to cross-link spells, monsters, items, etc.
How to create a campaign
How to invite players to a campaign
How to use the filters on searches
How to create a homebrewed item/spell/monster using a template and from scratch
How to subscribe
How to unsubscribe
How to create a character (already exists that tutorial is fine)
How to use/edit/export the character sheet after your character is created (how to prepare spells, how to add more attacks, etc.)
My point is this: All of the above information is on the site somewhere. However, some of it is hard to find, especially if you aren't looking for it. I'd imagine a new user wouldn't inherently know that you can cross-link spells/monsters in forum posts and campaign notes, but it's super useful to be able to do that. Sure they can look up how to do that, but how would they know that it is even an option without reading it in a forum post by chance (not everyone who uses this product will necessarily be active on forums). Put it in a spot where a new user (who hasn't been here seeing the changes/features as they are released) can see all of the awesome features and things you can do with DND Beyond.
agreed on those points, except I'd like to add that the guide to making a character could use some work, it gives instructions on making a character, but not on making a character with DDB's character builder.
You don't necessarily need a new tab for it, either. a universal guide to the site will be inefficient because you gotta keep cross referencing the darn thing. throughout the builder you can include a paragraph in each segment on how to build the character, how to select things, what to click, etc. the homebrew in particular is a good place to put instructional tooltips because you have a lot of (?) buttons that don't do anything there, having instructions and definitions for all sorts of things on the builder and the homebrew sections would help immensely.

I will always miss what you were, but I will never miss what you've become.
Homebrew needs it the most imo. There are tons of properties for items and spells that aren't intuitive, and half of them don't calculate at all on the character sheet.
Any movement on this? I think documentation is important to maintaining a good product. Is D&D Beyond a good product? Is it somewhere that I'm not finding it?

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
