I'm looking forward to a game session where we actually get to use this now that I've signed up for the Beta testing. We're varying levels of seasoned gamers n the group, all with having started in different editions (I age myself by saying this, but I've been playing since AD&D 1st, but used to watch my brother and his friends play D&D when I was a little thing, too), and with each change we make for editions we get stuck on how things have changed and what do we do no
That said, I'm really looking forward to full app status, and the character builder... it'll be nice to consolidate some of my online tools/resources. ;)
At the moment you have access to basic D&D rules, Spells, Magic Items, and Creatures from the WotC SRD - You'll see the boxes to click in the top right. Phase 2 will introduce a character generator.
Still like 3.5 better. But creating a universal tool for a system is nothing new. Everyone wants ones for every edition. Basic, Advanced, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 as much as hate it, and 5. The system has always been fine, what's needed are ADVENTURE MODULES. Get back into creating stories and quit messing with the play style.
I would say I was expecting some sort of app verses a website. It is clean an nice but there are other 3rd party apps that do the same thing. The big thing I'm looking for is to have an unearthed arcana stuff attached to the character builder.
Even if the extended content is a minimal listing and refers to the pay-to-play source (which is fine - we all understand profit margins), the content should at least be mentioned here. Argue to the executives that this site could be a fantastic, organic marketing tool - but not if it's a blank page about the rest of the cool stuff you've developed for 5e.
i hope it will be also in italian..
Grand, grand, grand! ^^
I'm ecstatic to see the next two. Simple how spectacular the first one is.
It is fun to play with

Looks like the cross-link and tooltips features is online. Nice!
Just about to start a game session and I will have this at my side. Let's see how it fits in.
The door is locked, what do you do? Hit it with the rogue.
I don't understand this. What is this supposed to be?

Ahh gotcha. Seems sort of lacking at the moment, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with this stuff.
It's just a database?

I still there going to be an app?
Yup! An app is part of the foundation for what DDB Staff has planned.

Cool! Thanks. I've got questions about things so I'll be finding the forums soon!
Really enjoying how quick the interface works.
Will be using this when I run my game this weekend, some of my players will be introduced to the product this evening.

Chandelierianism: Not just for interns anymore.
