Sev is going to ready a shortbow attack, and as soon as an orc gets into his range, he's gonna nail it
Attack: 14 Damage: 5 //Again, just whenever they get in range of me, just went ahead and rolled in case I'm not on later//
// I don't believe we ever used this, so... //
Waiting until the oncoming orcs are within prime range, Seviari shoots an arrow, sticking the tusked warrior center of mass. The orc takes the hit in stride and continues towards the bridge, his goal.
// OOC I take it that the area directly under Marav is a farm plot that shouldn't interfere with line of sight to the opening, right? Provided that's true, on my next turn, I'll head south between that plot and the building to the west of it the extent of my normal movement, which should put the opening to the south in range of my bow and perhaps a spell or two. I'll act accordingly when it's my turn again, I just wanted to make sure that I'll have line of sight. Please advise if otherwise. //
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The orcs to the southwest, along with the chief & shaman, now take a plunge into the moat and begin to swim across to the village side, having found the route through.
The four orcs who were already at the bridge climb up onto it, two of them entering the village and two running across the makeshift bridge. One of them reaches Flint and attacks the Dwarf: Attack: 14 Damage: 9
The two guards in the western tower take one last shot at the Eye of Gruumsh before climbing down the ladder (one of them will help the other to remove the Disadvantage):
Attack: 8 Damage: 5
The wounded Kaelen cries out in victory. "Got him!" She says, and as she is still shouting, the spectral battleaxe dissolves in a cloud of mystical entropy.
The wounded Kaelen cries out in victory. "Got him!" She says, and as she is still shouting, the spectral battleaxe dissolves in a cloud of mystical entropy.
"Nice work, Kaelen! See if you can find another place to perch and shoot from - keep an eye out on the southern entrance between the keep and the village, they'll be flooding in from there!"
Flint and Seviari, behind you, you hear a heavy *thud* and the clink of chainmail, as Solace leaps off the defensive wall and runs to your aid. She utters a prayer to Tymora and a shield of faith surrounds Flint as an extra layer of protection. As she does, she fire a crossbow bolt at the nearest orc: Attack: 18 Damage: 9
The orc falls off the bridge, dead (the orc that attacked Flint).
// New round! Players are up. The map should be updated at the same link, as well. Orcs are now invading the town, and more are on the way shortly. //
If there is an orc within 10', Flint will hit it with his warhammer Attack: 9 Damage: 5 (add 4 to the attack roll) then resumes his position at the end of the bridge.
If not, he'll hit the nearest orc with sacred flame DEX DC or 8 radiant damage.
//Can I duck around the corner of the building and shoot at anyone, shifting hunters mark again?//
// This round you're just getting to the building, but next turn, yes you can. Also the last orc you marked is one of the two who are currently invading the village. //
If there is an orc within 10', Flint will hit it with his warhammer Attack: 7 Damage: 7 (add 3 to the attack roll) then resumes his position at the end of the bridge.
Flint steps up to the edge of the gap in the bridge to meet the orc warrior, who is trying to cross the ladder. The orc sidesteps the blow. Both combatants sway on their feet, trying to regain their balance.
// Didn't think about the AOO, Flint's backing up to his starting position after the attack. //
// You can move back on your next turn, and if you like you can use the disengage action first (or try and kill the orc before you move, if he's still standing there in front of you). For right now you've already moved (5 feet) and are "engaged" with the orc warrior. //
Ink's face brightens up as if he just had an interesting idea... he dashes towards the entrance in which he sees the orcs coming in through...
// OOC DM, here's the plan, I think I can do it, but I'm not entirely sure... my plan is to dash towards the door way between the village and the keep in the most optimal route possible, i.e., get as close as I can as fast as I can... then on my following turn I want to cast grease on the 10' x 10' square that is last two bridge squares coming into the village and the first two squares of the village. It seems to me that it's a choke-point in that anyone going through there will have to go through the greased up area without fail. Grease has a 60' range, hence why I need to move and dash this round, and possibly move up a little more on the next prior to casting the spell. I cannot see the map perfectly from my set up, so I trust you Away to treat it the most efficient way possible. Ink would like to stay the max he can away while still pulling off the plan, so perhaps that'll mean moving up, casting and then moving back. Thanks! //

Rip and Beedo sat in the tower, still taking cover as the spectral battleaxe swooshed over their heads and began travelled south at a ponderous rate.
