Sturdy (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). If the lairon is reduced it to 0 Hit Points, it is reduced to 1 Hit Point instead.
Mettalic Slam. Melee Weapon Attack : +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit : 19 (4d6 + 3) Bludgeoning damage.
Roar. Wisdom Saving Throw, DC 13, one creature within 15 feet. Failure : The target has the Frightened condition until the start of the lairon's next turn.
Harden (1/Day). The lairon's AC increases by 3 for the next minute (23), or until the lairon looses Concentration (as if concentrating on a spell).
Protect (Recharge 5-6). Trigger : The lairon is hit by an attack roll it can see. Response : The lairon adds 3 to its AC against attack rolls (including the triggering attack) until the start of its next turn, possibly causing the attacks to miss.
Description

Lairons are the more mature form of arons, stocky, armored creatures with four short legs. Their body is dark gray, thier eyes are sky blue, and akin to an ankylosaurus, it's back is covered with segments of platinum iron armor, each with a high ridge and round dark holes on the sides. The sides of its lower jaw have several flat protrusions, and two teeth are visible in its mouth.
Mostly solitary in nature, a Lairon smashes its steely body against any other creatures trying to claim its territory, and shows off its strength with the size of sparks it creates by ramming into rocks. Close inspection of Lairons has revealed scratches and dents left on the armor from its conflicts. It drinks nutritious mineral spring water and feeds on iron contained in rocks or finds in mines or urban areas, getting into conflict with humans over theses ressources.
