The Humblewood Campaign Setting Arrives to D&D Beyond! See What's Inside!

The Humblewood Campaign Setting is now on D&D Beyond! Brought to you by Hit Point Press, this third-party book introduces a charming forest setting to Dungeons & Dragons.

Venture into the world of avian birdfolk and ground-dwelling humblefolk as you explore Humblewood—or "the Wood," as it’s known to its residents. Let’s spread our wings and dive into what you can find in Humblewood today.

What You’ll Find in the Humblewood Campaign Setting

A collection of humblefolk and birdfolk at a night market with various vendors.

Within the pages of the Humblewood Campaign Setting, you’ll find an adventure for players 1st to 5th level that will take your party from the sleepy Meadowfen to the Scorched Grove. You'll also find all the information needed to run the setting at your table, so you can write your own Humblewood campaign.

Players will discover a plethora of new options, including unique species, subclasses, backgrounds, feats, and spells. Explore the canopies as the bird-like corvum or gallus, or traverse between giant roots as the ground-dwelling hedge or mapach.

Dungeon Masters will also enjoy a bestiary brimming with monsters to challenge their players, as well as NPCs for them to interact with.

The World of Humblewood

The Humblewood Campaign Setting explores the Wood, a massive and varied forest where the two main groups of people dwell: the humblefolk who live on the ground amongst the roots and plants, and the birdfolk who make their homes high up in the canopy of the Wood. However, these aren’t your regular animals but humanoid-sized avian and animal peoples. They are furred and feathered adventurers waiting to go on thrilling quests.

Within the Wood, you’ll discover locations such as the bustling capital of Alderheart, home of all the peoples found in the Wood, and the Scorched Grove, a devastating scar caused by the Great Calamity centuries ago.

Overseeing the Wood is the pantheon of deities known as the Amaranthine, who are tasked with upholding the Great Rhyme. These deities exist in an equilibrium that reflects the balance they uphold, and infighting and meddling between deities is unheard of. Within the Amaranthine, you’ll find deities worshiped by the birdfolk and the humblewood, and each in a way that is unique to their culture.
