D&D at Gen Con 2025 

Join us for a new adventure as we take over Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis as a part of the Gen Con 2025 convention, taking place from July 31 to August 3! We have so much to share with you, and we’re excited to give attendees a first look into the new Forgotten Realms releases!

D&D Showcase at Lucas Oil Stadium 

  • All weekend long during convention hours

Check out our product showcase booth, where you can see upcoming releases like the D&D Starter Set: Heroes of the Borderlands and Stranger Things Welcome to the Hellfire ClubCelebrate the return to the Realms with a Forgotten Realms art print while supplies last with the coupon in the Gen Con coupon book!  

In addition, our friends at Stern Pinball will have Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye official pinball machines set up for walk-up play! All this and more awaits you in the West Concourse! 

D&D Play with Baldman Games 

  • All weekend long 
  • Lucas Oil Stadium, West Club Lounge 

Near the D&D showcase, you’ll find Baldman Games running an exciting slate of D&D games, all using the newest rules, with many tables featuring hybrid D&D Beyond play! A small number of tickets are still available—get them before they’re gone. Games featured include: 

  • The Gen Con debut of Legends of Greyhawk, featuring four adventures set in and around Greyhawk City. Get in on the ground floor of the next D&D organized play campaign!  
  • Preview play of adventures and player options from the upcoming Forgotten Realms books; pre-made characters are provided. Experience an adventure from one of five mini-settings featured in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms
  • Explore one of the Caves of Chaos with the new D&D Starter Set: Heroes of the Borderlands. Be among the first to try out the deluxe experience of our newest invitation to adventure! 

Legends of Greyhawk Play Specifics 

If you’re planning to play Legends of Greyhawk, we highly recommend creating a character beforehand, although pre-made characters will be available. The character creation rules are present in the Legends of Greyhawk Guide, a short document that gives you what you need to get started!

All characters start at level 1, and playing at least three adventures will get your character to level 3! 

D&D Beyond account holders also earn physical rewards in the form of tradable magic item cards and other certificates at the end of each play session! To be eligible to earn physical versions of the rewards, you need to do one of the following: a) show you have a D&D Beyond account, or b) use a printed character sheet from your D&D Beyond account.

Beadle & Grimm’s “Faster Purple Worm, Kill Kill!” Play 

  • Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 
  • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day listed 
  • Lucas Oil Stadium, West Club Lounge 

Based on the official D&D Adventures TV show, four intrepid level 1 characters heroically face off against an epic D&D monster and meet their ultimate demise. This game will be DM'ed by Jon Ciccolini, as seen on the TV show! Tickets are still available for these game sessions and the second “Faster Purple Worm, Kill Kill!” Live Show! 

D&D Beyond Information Station 

  • All weekend long

Heroes of the Borderlands Demo Play

Have a friend who’s never tried D&D before? Bring them over to a fast and fun 20-minute demo in the Hasbro brands area, featuring the newest starter set! 

Dungeons & Dragons: Future of the Forgotten Realms Panel 

  • Thursday, July 31

The Forgotten Realms is D&D's most beloved fantasy world. Join the D&D team for an entertaining look into what's to come later in 2025 with two new books, Heroes of the Forgotten Realms and Adventures in the Forgotten Realms

D&D Beyond has brought on a host of great partner publishers, giving fans another way to enjoy content from creative voices across the TRPG industry. Get a peek at what is coming next!  

In addition to all the above, you can check out Baldman Games’ D&D store, where you can pick up all the most recent D&D books and other accessories at booth 2901 in the Exhibit Hall.
