Hello adventurers! We’re back with updates on our newest release, Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, into D&D Adventurers League and Legends of Greyhawk.
Adventurers League Updates

All character options in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within are available in the Ravenloft campaign of D&D Adventurers League. For Dragonlance, instead use the character options listed for Legends of Greyhawk (see below). For Forgotten Realms and Eberron, add the Artificer subclass Reanimator to the Legends of Greyhawk options.
Creators crafting Eberron campaign adventures for the Dungeoncraft program may use the new monsters present in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
The D&D Adventurers League Player’s Guide, the D&D Adventurer’s League DM’s Guide, and the Dungeoncraft Design Guide will be updated with these changes, which will be posted in the D&D Beyond Organized Play forum in early December. For questions and feedback, visit the official D&D Discord, where you can find Adventurers League channels under “Organized Play.”

Posted Jun 3, 2026Does this mean Shadow Sorceror is no longer legal outside of Ravenloft? Or is the old Xanathars version still legal since it technically has a different name, even though it's very clear from the features that it's an update? Does it have special rules as far as being legal since it's an update of an old, legal subclass?

Posted Jun 17, 2026Sitting here, 8pm on the 17th of June... accounting for time zones, still some 20 hours after release, and my pre-ordered digital copy remains "currently unavailable".
WoTC, always happy to take your money, but no actual action on "support", just a filtered "is this your issue?" page.
Well done. No wonder 3rd party products are more appreciated.
