Bard
Base Class: Bard

You are a mournful but powerful traveler. You wander into town, sing your song, shoot some whiskey, and move along. You've been hurt and hardened but it didn't break your voice, it strengthened it. By taking this Johnny Cash based path, you Won't (need to) Back Down.

Busted a Chair Right Across his Teeth

Starting at 6th level, you have proficiency with improvised weapons, and add your charisma modifier to attack and damage rolls to hit with them. Additionally, the damage dealt with an improvised weapon is equal to your bardic inspiration die. While wielding an improvised weapon in both hands, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. Finally, if you cast a bard spell as your action, you can make an improvised weapon attack as a bonus action.

Ring of Fire

Starting at 14th level, you radiate a burning determination. When you grant bardic inspiration or use your Hurt feature, every hostile creature of your choice within a 20 foot radius of you takes an amount of fire damage equal to two rolls of your bardic inspiration die. If creatures are immune to fire damage, they only resist this damage. You can expend additional bardic inspiration die to increase this damage by one die per die spent. Additionally, if a creature you've inspired uses your bardic inspiration die to successfully attack a creature, they deal two extra bardic inspiration die of fire damage on the hit.

Hurt

You've endured plenty of pain, and you're not afraid to experience more. Starting at level 3, when you have no bardic inspiration remaining, you can use your reaction when an ally makes an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw to give them a bardic inspiration die to use on the roll. When they roll, you take damage equal to the number rolled on the die if they succeed on the roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and gain all uses back on a long rest.
