Monks of Remorse are mostly found in temples that are covered in complete darkness. They provide an alternative way of keeping prisoners and in some cities are the only prisons available.   

Blind Justice

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain Blindsight to a range of 30ft.

Path to Redemption

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast darkness, branding smite, or zone of truth, without providing material components. Additionally, you gain the dancing lights cantrip if you don’t already know it.

Binding of Authority

At 6th level, you gain the ability to bind those who need punishment. As a bonus action you can choose a creature within 30ft of you that you can see, they make a Dexterity saving throw or them become restrained until the end of your next turn. If you are in complete darkness instead you may target all creatures within 30ft of you that you can see.

Eye of Penance

At 11th level, you gain the ability to cause harm and mental damage to those you can see with your blindsight. All creatures within your blindsight range takes you proficiency bonus as psychic damage. If any creatures are restrained or you are in complete darkness, they take double your proficiency bonus as psychic damage.

Inevitable Atonement

At 17th level, you gain the ability to mark a prisoner indefinitely. Once per day if a creature has taken damage from Eye of Penance, you can choose to apply the mark of Atonement on them. Whenever you close your eyes and use blindsight you sense ghostly footprints/indications of where the target has been or where the target is generally to your current location. Even if the target goes to a different plane of existence as long as they are marked, you can find where they originally shifted from. The target is marked in this way until you use this ability again, or until your target dies.
