Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of Mounts seek for unity among people and nature. They form strong bonds with beast that they care for and in return these beasts will aid them in travel and even combat. These druids are known as brave warriors that strive to protect both nature and even civilizations in dire times. They fight with just as much ferocity as the beast they bond with, this bond is so powerful that it can even shape the form of the beast itself and can make the rider a more formidable warrior. 

Warrior of the Woods

You gain proficiency with Martial Weapons and can pick one specific weapon to use as a spell focus. 

Saddle Companion

Upon choosing this subclass you gain a mount that you are supernaturally bonded too. This creature acts on your turn consuming your bonus action while mounted or can have its own intuitive while not mounted. The appearance of this mount is up to you, additionally you get 40 ft of movement with it as well as one other type of movement listed. This creature can wear special made armor. You can find the stats below:

  • Hit Points 5 + five times your druid level (the beast has a number of Hit Dice [d10s] equal to your druid level)
  • Speed 40 ft., climb 40 ft., burrow 40 ft., swim 40 ft.

  • Senses Darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception 12 + PB
  • Languages understands the languages you speak
  • Proficiency Bonus (PB) equals your bonus

Charge. If the beast moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a maul attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 1d6 slashing or bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked prone.

Primal Bond. You can add your proficiency bonus to any ability check or saving throw that the beast makes.


 

Beastly Bond

Upon reaching 6th level you can expend a use of your wildshape as an action to give your mount a second action or inversely you can use its action to give yourself an extra action.

Rider's Fury

When you reach level 10 you can spend your reaction to attack any creature with either weapons or spells if they attacked your mount on there turn. 

Lance of Nature

At level 14 while mounted on or within 10 ft of your mount you can target a creature that you have already used your action to damage and make another melee attack against them free of action. You do this by conjuring a magic lance that uses either STR or WIS for the attack roll and deals an amount of d8's equal to your WIS mod in piecing damage. This damage is considered magical.
