Base Class: Wizard
Many wizards specialise in specific spells that focus on protecting the self, and some of those practice to such a degree that they gain the ability to redirect attacks and spells. Some practitioners use this power to harmlessly deflect them into empty space, whilst others use it to hit targets that weren't intended by the original attacker.
Redirect Momentum
You add the shield spell to your spellbook if it is not there already. Whenever casting the shield spell causes an attack to miss, you may cause another creature within 5 feet of you to become the target of the attack instead.
Enhanced Shield
Whenever you cast the shield spell, you may also add your proficiency bonus to your AC.
Spell Redirection
You add the counterspell spell to your spellbook if it is not there already. Whenever you successfully interrupt a spell that targeted a space within 5 feet of, you may redirect the spell to another target as if you had cast it yourself. The redirected spell uses your spellcasting modifier, spell attack, and spell save DC.
Enhanced Counterspell
When casting the counterspell spell against a spell targeting a space within 5 feet of you, you gain advantage on any spellcasting ability checks made to interrupt the spell.
Greater Redirection
Whenever you use Redirect Momentum against a ranged attack, you may target another creature within 10 feet.
Spell Redirection can now be used on spells that target a space within 10 feet of you.
