Monk
Base Class: Monk

Where most monks learned from studying under masters of their art, you learned on the streets. You punched, kicked, and head butted your way through every fight, and every fight was punctuated by shattered bones and lost teeth. While you do not possess the artfulness of your peers, you possess the brutality to make up for it.

If you have any suggestions or tips for this subclass, please let me know.

Dirty Fighting

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learned how to force your enemies into submission, whenever you strike someone with a  flurry of blows you may choose to either,

  • Grapple them.
  • Force the target to make a CON save against your spell save DC or become stunned until the end of its next turn.

Also starting at 3rd level, if you have a creature grappled you may make unarmed melee attacks against the grappled creature(but only against that creature). In addition, when attempting to grapple someone, you may use your WIS instead of STR in the opposed roll.

Abuse Momentum

At 6th level, you gain the ability to use the momentum and weight of your opponent against them. You gain the following abilities,

  • As a reaction, if an attack misses you, you may spend 1 ki point, the target must make a STR save vs your spell save DC (8+proficiency modifier+WIS) or be thrown 10 feet away from you
  • At the end of a flurry of blows action, you may make the target make a STR saving throw against your spell save DC or be thrown 10 feet away from you.

Blood and Vigor

Beginning at 11th level, you can will yourself back into the fight, pushing past broken bones and torn flesh. As an action during one of your turns you may spend 1 ki, you recover HP equal to four times your monk level , in addition you recover from any condition except, the exhaustion and the paralyzed conditions.

The Toughest There Is

At 17th level, you become so hard to take down that most weapons seem to bounce right off. You gain resistance to non-magical slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing damage. However if you are currently grappling someone, you gain resistance to all damage types.
