Base Class: Bard
Bards from the College of Intuition are those who rely on their own innate talents over formal training. These bards have a tendency to sing the songs of their own great deeds, rather than those of mythical heroes or legendary warriors of the land. They travel the world, singing their songs in an attempt to immortalize themselves as legends for future bards to pass along. Their songs inspire people to follow them, creating devotees wherever they spread their message.
Bardic Intuition
When you join the College of Intuition at 3rd level, you gain the ability to choose yourself as the target for your Bardic Inspiration.
Precognitive Performance
Also at 3rd level, your intuition begins to affect the songs you sing about yourself.
If you sing a song that can be heard by at least 3 other people about your exploits for at least 10 minutes, you can sing about an exploit you have yet to complete. At the end of this song, choose aberrations, beasts, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, plants, undead, or two types of humanoid. The next attack you make against a creature of a chosen type that hits is a critical hit.
If you sing another song in this way before hitting a creature chosen by this feature, you lose the benefit of all but the most recent song sung.
Infectious Confidence
At 6th level your unwavering assurance in your own skill begins to spread to your allies, bringing them up to the level at which you see yourself. You have an aura around yourself with a radius equal to 5ft. times your proficiency bonus. At the beginning of each of your turns, choose any number of creatures within your Infectious Confidence aura. Each of those creatures gains one of the following benefits until the start of your next turn:
- +1 bonus to attack rolls.
- +2 bonus to saving throws.
- +10 ft. bonus to walking speed.
Tale Weaver
At 14th level, your unshakable self-confidence allows you to do things normally unavailable to you, but you know your story must have dramatic action outside of the normal purview of your class.
As an action, you can attempt to cast a spell you do not know from any class' spell list by making an Intelligence (Arcana) check. If that spell is on the bard spell list, the DC of that check is 10 + twice the level of the spell slot you expend to cast the spell. If that spell is not on the bard spell list, the DC of that check is 10 + your proficiency bonus + twice the level of the spell slot you expend to cast the spell.
On a successful check, you cast the spell as normal, using your spell save DC and spellcasting ability modifier. On a failed check, you do not cast a spell, and the spell slot is wasted.
