Fists of Fury

Unarmed fighting is not just the fists. You fight with kicks, bites, headbutts, elbows, etc. Whatever you want to hit your target with. You gain the following benefits while you are unarmed and not carrying a shield:

  • You can roll a d8 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. This die changes as you gain barbarian levels (2d6 at 8th, 3d6 at 13th, and 3d8 at 17th).
  • If you are raging, you can frenzy to attack unarmed with advantage as a bonus action.

Frenzy

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make a single unarmed attack as a bonus action on each of your turns after this one. You make these attacks with advantage due to the ferocity of your frenzy.

Mindless Rage

Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.

Overwhelming Prowess

Starting at 6th level, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage. Additionally, your critical hit range with unarmed strikes expands by 1.

Retaliation

Starting at 10th level, while raging, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you may use your Reaction to make an opportunity attack against the enemy.

Extra Attacks

While raging, you can attack three times, instead of twice, when you take the Attack action.

Action Surge

Starting at 14th level, you can push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment. On your turn, you can take one additional action.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. Starting at 19th level, you can use it twice before a rest, but only once on the same turn.
