Base Class: Rogue
Some rogues chose to get more personal with their hits, sneaking and deceiving closer. Not you. You know that the safest way to take a target is when they are in no place to fight back, with you sitting beyond sight at a great distance. You’ve mastered the use of ranged weapons to take out targets swiftly and efficiently within a single well placed shot
Tools of the trade
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the perception skill if you don't have it already. If you already have it, you can double your proficiency bonus if it. Additionally, you gain proficiency in all crossbows weapons and firearms if they exist in your world's setting.
Marksmen Talent
Additionally, at 3rd level, your careful training with weapons allows you to use them at far more effective ranges. Weapons with the ranged property when handled by you have twice the effective attack range. For example, a short bow with an accurate range of 80 feet and inaccurate range of 320 feet, instead has an accurate range of 160 feet and inaccurate range of 640 feet.
Well Placed Shot
At 9th level, you’ve become adept at taking your time to ensure your attack strikes true. You gain an additional option to your Cunning Action Feature: As a bonus action, you grant yourself advantage on your next attack role in this turn. You can only use this feature if you haven't moved during this turn yet.
Holding Steady
Upon reaching 13th level, you've mastered the ability to acquaint yourself with an environment you’re in and how your position affects future attacks, allowing you to take even more precise and lethal strikes. If you spend an entire round without moving, future sneak attacks add an extra die to its damage. This effect stacks across multiple rounds, such as dealing 4d6 extra damage if you haven't moved in 4 turns. You cannot stack more extra dice than the total number of dice you use in a sneak attack. This ability can be used outside of combat to benefit in a surprise attack.
For the Price of One
At 17th level, your mastery over your weapons and the power you put behind them allows you to strike multiple targets with a singular piece of ammunition. When you successfully hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, you can perform another ranged attack against a creature that is both in range and directly behind that creature. If your first attack was a sneak attack, this attack also can benefit from your sneak attack feature if you also would normally have advantage against the second target, however you do not roll with advantage for the second attack. If this attack lands, you can perform another attack on a 3rd creature within rand thats directly behind the first two, however this attack is made with disadvantage. Despite the disadvantage, it can still benefit from your sneak feature if applicable.
