Base Class: Rogue
Snipers excel at long-range combat, and stationary covert ops. Deadly accurate, and specialized in offensive capabilities, Snipers are a foe one should approach an encounter with under extreme caution.
Eagle's Percison
Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Longbows and proficiency in Perception or Survival. You can see up to a mile away in clear conditions and dim light or harsh weather conditions don't impose disadvantage on your Wisdom (Perception) checks relying on sight. In addition, if you don't move at any point on your turn, you gain a +2 bonus to your attack and damage rolls for your shortbows and longbows. This bonus increases by +1 at 10th, 15th, and 19th level.
Perception
You have proficiency in Perception.
Survival
You have proficiency in Survival.
Assassinate
At 3rd level, you have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn in the combat yet. In addition, any hit you score against a creature that is surprised is a critical hit.
One Shot, One Murder
At 9th level, when you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack using a shortbow or longbow while you are hidden from that target or have advantage on the attack roll, your Sneak Attack dice becomes d8s for that attack. Also if you are dealing Sneak Attack damage towards a creature for the first time of each combat, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC= 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). If the target is surprised, it has disadvantage on this saving throw. On a failed save, roll half the number of Sneak Attack dice for your level (round up), and the target creature takes additional damage equal to the roll’s total plus your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +0).
From the Shadows
At 13th level, you are particularly adept at firing from a prepared position. When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack using a shortbow or longbow while you are hidden from the target and you haven’t moved at any point during your turn, you may use your reaction immediately after the attack action to attempt to remain hidden by making a contested Dexterity (Stealth) check against the target's Wisdom (Perception) check. If you succeed, your attack doesn't reveal your position. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of 1) before a short rest.
Lethality
At 17th level, once per turn when you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a shortbow or longbow, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. Also, if you haven’t moved at any point during your turn, you land critical hits on rolls 18-20 with shortbows or longbows and when you land a critical hit with a shortbow or longbow, your Sneak Attack automatically deals maximum damage for that attack.
