Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk that follows the Way of the Nimbus is one that is as light as moisture on a leaf, able to walk on clouds and step without hardly touching the ground. There are near limitless motivations for joing this order, such as those who wish for the abilities to aid in their thievery, those who need some assistance with their mobility, or those who simply want to have fun bounding across the clouds.

Light Footed

3rd-level Way of the Nimbus feature

Though only barely, your feet do not touch the ground. You gain a bonus to any Dexterity (Stealth) check. The bonus is equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 0).

Additionally, you ignore non-magical difficult terrain and your weight is halved.

Cloud Stepping

3rd-level Way of the Nimbus feature

You can make a running long jump or a running high jump after moving only 5 feet on foot, rather than 10 feet.

When you use your Step of the Wind feature, your jump distance is tripled instead of doubled.

Cloud Caller

3rd-level Way of the Nimbus feature

The clouds heed your beck and call. As an action, you can expend 1 ki point to cast the fog cloud spell.

Quick Footed

6th-level Way of the Nimbus feature

As you glide above the ground, you are able to maneuver with ease. Other creatures have disadvantage on opportunity attack rolls against you.

Aerial Maneuver

6th-level Way of the Nimbus feature

You, like a cloud, like to spend a lot of time in the air. You have advantage on attack rolls against creatures that are below you.

Additionally, when you hit a creature with an unarmed attack or melee monk weapon while you are not touching the ground, such as falling, flying, or jumping, you can move up to 10 feet in any direction as a small cloud appears briefly beneath your feet.

Your Slow Fall ability no longer requires you to expend your reaction to use.

While you are in the air, you can choose to not fall until the end of your turn.

Cumulonimbus

11th-level Way of the Nimbus feature

You are like the clouds, always ready for when the storm comes. You gain resistance to Lightning and Thunder damage.

Additionally, when you take Lightning or Thunder damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10 + your Wisdom modifier. When you do so, you can expend a number of Ki points, up to your proficiency bonus, to reduce the Thunder or Lightning damage creatures within 30 feet of you take by the same amount. This can effect an number of creatures equal to the amount of Ki expended.

Step of the Stratosphere

17th-level Way of the Nimbus feature

When you use your Step of the Wind feature, you can expend an additional 2 ki points to gain the benefits of both the dash and disengage actions and gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed until the end of your turn.

Additionally, when you take the attack action while you are in the air, you can deal additional Thunder damage each time you hit equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you can make one additional attack as part of that same action.
