Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Clerics of the Undeath domain focus their magical prowess on the creation and control of undead, summoning such creatures to enact their God's will. While clerics of this domain are usually inclined to evil deities such as Hades or Myrkul there are also some that follow more neutral Gods of death, such as Jergal the Forgotten One, who lets his followers control lesser undead so long as it serves a greater purpose.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor.

Disciple of Death

Also starting at 1st level, you learn to channel necrotic energy through any of your attacks. Whenever you would deal damage against a creature that is not an undead or construct you can deal extra necrotic damage equal to your wisdom modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Risen Champion

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to conjure an undead creature.

As an action you conjure an undead champion in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of you. The creature takes the form of a skeleton or zombie and shares your initiative, acting right after you end your turn. You can command this creature using your bonus action as long as it is within 120 ft of you (This can be part of the same action to command any other undead you control). The creature has hit points equal to four times your cleric level, has an AC equal to 11 + your proficiency bonus, and shares your ability scores, proficiencies, and saving throws. On its turn the risen champion can use its action to make a melee spell attack using your wisdom modifier, dealing necrotic damage equal to 1d8 + your wisdom modifier on a hit and it can also take other actions as normal, such as the dodge action.

The creature disappears one minute or until it is reduced to 0 hit points.

Empowered Servants

Beginning at 6th level, any undead servants you summon with a spell or class feature are summoned with temporary hit points equal to your cleric level.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Overlord

Starting at 17th level, any undead you summon through a spell or class feature adds your Wisdom modifier to their AC and damage rolls. Additionally, they are all treated as if under the effect of death ward
