Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Circle of Flora allows druids to draw on the power of the plant life around them. These druids are a unique type of support, allowing their team to plant down and bunker safely and more efficiently. Yet, these druids are not solely support, and can move around the battlefield as well, to make sure they can always be in the right place at the right time.

Many druids of this circle are hermits, or travelers who have nowhere but the woods to call home.

Floral Wildshape

2nd-level Circle of Flora feature

You are no longer limited by the beastly barriers of wild shape. Your wild shape creature list extends out into the Plant category of monster, instead of just the Beast category.

Orbis Tree

2nd-level Circle of Flora feature

You can harness the natural beacons of your world into yourself. As an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to transform into an Orbis Tree. The size of this tree scales as you grow levels in this class, but starts off as medium. Your movement speed is reduced to zero, and enemies have advantage to hit you with ranged attacks.

While wildshaped as an Orbis Tree, you grant these benefits to all allies who start or end their turn within 10 feet of you. You are not granted these benefits as well.

  • They gain temporary hit points equal to your druid level, multiplied by three.
  • All healing spells, cast by an ally, can add your Wisdom Modifier to the health roll.
  • They gain 10 feet of additional movement speed.

This form has a total amount of hit points equal to your class level, multiplied by your Wisdom Modifier. This form also has a vulnerability to fire damage. When an ally leaves your range, their benefits disappear immediately.

Your Orbis Tree's size increases by a size category when you reach 9th level (Large), 13th level (Huge), and 17th level (Gargantuan) in this class.

Nature's Healing

6th-level Circle of Flora feature

While you are vulnerable, nature will come to ensure you are safe. During a short rest, nature will manifest in strange ways, as if to protect you and your party.

If any hit dice are rolled during the short rest, they can be rolled twice. When you roll a hit dice like this, you take the higher number of the two.

The nature manipulated during this ability returns back to normal after the short rest is over.

Zip Vine

10th-level Circle of Flora feature

As an action, you can mold your arms into vine like appendages. While your arms are like this, you can use a bonus action to grapple onto a point within range. While grappling a point like this, you can forgo your usual movement to immediately zip over to that grappled point.

Moving like this provokes opportunity attacks when moving into someones space, but does not provoke it when leaving their space. This abilities range is an amount of feet equal to 15, multiplied by your Wisdom Modifier. This range can be doubled or halved if effected by the spell Enlarge/Reduce. While your arms are transformed like this, you cannot cast any spells with Somatic components

A creature can attempt to hold onto you while you are moving in this way. That creature must make an Athletics or Acrobatics check against your Spell Save DC. If they fail, then they fall off at the halfway point between the point of the attempt, and the destination.

You can also attempt to grab onto someone mid movement. While moving like this, you can use your reaction to grab either a willing or unwilling creature. When you attempt to grab a willing creature like this, you do not need to make any checks to grab them. But, if you attempt to grab an unwilling creature, then That creature can make an Athletics or Acrobatics check against your Spell Save DC, to not be grappled. If a creature you're grabbing like this is falling, then they take fall damage as if you were the ground.

This effect ends after 10 minutes, until you break concentration (as if concentrating on a spell), or until you dismiss it yourself with a bonus action on any of your turns.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Orbis Tree of Yggdrasil

14th-level Circle of Flora feature

Your connection to the Orbis Tree has deepened to an incredible degree. When you choose to turn into an Orbis Tree, you can expend another use of your Wild Shape feature to turn into an Orbis Tree of Yggdrasil.

An Orbis Tree of Yggdrasil has all of the effects of a standard Orbis Tree, but all the benefits granted by the Trees aura are doubled. The Tree also has double the hit points of a standard Orbis Tree transformation.
