Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A subclass designed to embody the power of the Armored Titan from Attack on Titan.

Raging Titan

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage transforms you into the Armored Titan, who's power can be increased by expending multiple Rage uses when you enter your rage. You gain proficiency with unarmed strikes and grappling, and can grapple one creature per size smaller than you without reducing your speed. Your unarmed strikes count as Strength-based melee weapon attacks for the purpose of granting them the rage damage bonus.

When you enter your rage, half of your current hit points are converted into temporary hit points, which can stack with other temporary hit points. While raging, you have resistance to all damage except psychic damage. All of your equipped weapons, armor, and other equipment merge into your Titan form when entering rage, and cannot be used or grant any effects while raging. Your Armor Class changes while raging, and is calculated as such:

Rage Armor Class = 12 + Proficiency Bonus + Constitution Modifier

While raging, your rage ends immediately when you have no temporary hit points, but cannot otherwise end unless you choose to end it or the duration expires. Upon leaving your Titan, you gain one level of exhaustion. Additionally, if there are any remaining temporary hit points when your rage ends, up to half(rounded up) of those are converted into regular hit points, not exceeding your hit point maximum.

You can use multiple rage uses when entering your rage, up to a maximum of 3 per rage. For each rage use you use upon entering your rage, you gain the following effects while raging:

  • Increase one size above your character's current size.
  • 1d4 bludgeoning damage added to your unarmed strikes.
  • 10ft Speed.
  • 1 minute of rage duration.
  • Add half your maximum hit points as temporary hit points. These temporary hit points can stack with other temporary hit points.

When you gain Relentless Rage feature at 11th level, replace each instance of "hit point(s)" with "temporary hit point(s)."

Titan Shifter

Starting at 3rd level when you choose this subclass, you gain the shape changer sub race. At the end of each short and long rest, you automatically cast the True Polymorph  spell while ignoring it's components, duration, and concentration requirements to revert to your original form without defects.

Enhanced Hardening

Beginning at 6th level, while raging, you gain advantage on saving throws to prevent or reduce non-psychic damage, and force disadvantage on spells and effects that target you and deal non-psychic damage. While raging, your unarmed strikes are considered magical and adamantine for the purpose of overcoming damage resistances and immunities, and your natural armor is considered adamantine, preventing even critical hits from landing if the total attack roll does not beat your AC.

Advanced Regeneration

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to spend one hit die to regain hit points outside of a short rest. You roll the hit die and add your constitution modifier to it. You regain hit points equal to that number. Additionally, you regenerate lost and damaged body parts after a long rest.

At the end of each short rest, roll 1d4 and add half your constitution modifier (rounded up) to the roll. You regain that many hit dice at the end of that short rest.

Shifting Blast

Starting at 14th level, when you enter your rage, you summon down a strike of lightning and create an explosion while shifting to your titan form, dealing 5d10 thunder damage to all other creatures, structures, and objects within a 5ft radius centered on you. For each rage used upon entering your rage, add an additional 5d10 thunder damage and 5ft radius to this explosion. Creatures can attempt a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw to halve this damage on a successful save.
