CKToE - College of Opera

Performers of all kinds enroll in the College of Opera, learning to channel their voice as a conduit of art and destruction. Shattering the eardrums of audience and foe, Opera bards’ mix magnificent dramatic costumes with thunderous acapella to become star performers and immutable opponents.

Deafening Inspiration

When you join the College of Opera at 3rd level, you gain the ability to hurt your foes with your voice whilst aiding your allies through inspiration.

When you use your bardic inspiration feature, you use your soprano voice to deal thunder damage and deafen enemies within 10 feet of you. Everyone within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw against your bard spell DC or take thunder damage equal to one roll of your bardic inspiration dice and become deafened until the end of their next turn.

Costume Change

Starting at 3rd level, you can change your appearance with ease.

You learn the disguise self spell and once per short rest, you can cast it without expending a spell slot. 

When you cast disguise self in this way, you can add your bardic inspiration dice to any charisma check to pass yourself off as the disguised character.

Echoing Reverberations

At 6th level, your loud singing has lasting, crippling effects on those who fall victim to it. When you inflict a target with the deafened condition, they take thunder damage equal to your bardic inspiration dice at the start of their turn until they are no longer deafened by you.

Shattering Aria

Once per long rest, you can deliver a powerful aria to destroy your enemies and rupture their eardrums. As an action, you can unleash a destructive cone of your bellowing, thunderous voice. Everyone within a 30-foot cone who can hear you must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw or take 4 rolls of your bardic inspiration die in thunder damage and become deafened for 1-minute. Anyone deafened by this spell can repeat the saving throw against the condition at the end of their turn. You use this ability again by expending a spell slot of 5th level or higher to use this feature.
