Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You are a being of natural chaos, whatever weird magics you were born with flow through and with your strength and anger, many Natural Chaos Barbarians are well chaotic they don't really have a set path in life.   Chaos Barbarians use their chaos bursts, chaos surges and other weird magical effects to augment the world around them, deal more damage, and become much more powerful

Chaos Burst

3rd-level Path of Natural Chaos feature

When you hit with a weapon attack while raging you can add an additional 2d4 damage to the attack. Roll a D6 to determine the damage type: fire, lightning, force, cold, and psychic.  You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

Higher Levels: 2d6 (6th level), 2d8 (10th level), 2d10 (17th level), you regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Chaos Build

3rd-level Path of Natural Chaos feature

Also at 3rd level, the chaotic magical energy around you manifests around you, you have 4 distinct builds . When you enter a rage, roll a d4 on the Chaos Build table to determine the effect.

If the effect requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.

Chaos Build
D4 EFFECT
1

Orbital Decay: While raging, light bends around your form the area around your head becomes black and white as gravity has a pull. Enemies within 15 feet must make a STR saving throw or be pulled towards you. While within your aura of gravity they have disadvantage on attacks against creatures other than you.

2 Temporal Morass: While raging your body flickers with blue and red after images, and the timing of your movements become erratic. If an enemy starts its turn in your space they must make a CON saving throw. On a fail they lose their reaction or their speed is halved for 1 minute. On a success they become immune to the effect for 24 hours.
3 Meteor's Prism: While raging your eyes glow with the splendor of the galaxy. Each ally within 15 ft of you can add a d4 to attack rolls and saving throws.
4

Obsidian Nihility: While raging the darkness of space surrounds you in a 15ft. radius of magical darkness, any enemies that are in the aura cannot see even with darkvision, you are able to see within it.  If a creature tries to leave the radius they must make an INT saving throw to find their way out. On a failure they end up somewhere random in the aura and on a success they find their way out.

Divergence of Chaos

6th-level Path of Natural Chaos feature

Beginning at 6th level when raging you can create a chaotic divergent of yourself from the potential power surrounding you, While you’re raging as a bonus action you create the divergence of yourself. You can do this once per long rest at 6th level, and twice at 14th level.

The divergence is a non-flammable weightless thing of chaos. AC equals 13 plus your proficiency bonus, it has 1 hit point, and is immune to psychic and poison damage.. The divergence lasts your rage unless you’re incapacitated or it dies and it must be within 60ft of you at all time.    You can do the following things with it:

  • When you attack on your turn, you can use your bonus action to have the divergence attack from its place, you can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • You can expend 15 feet of your movement to swap places with your divergence, they have to be within 60ft of you tho.
  • If your divergence is within 10 feet of you, and you are hit with an attack, you can use your reaction to have the divergence interpose taking the attack, destroying it with it.

Mending Time

10th-level Path of Natural Chaos feature

The dunamantic power of possibility turns some of your natural chaotic potential into aid. When you take damage you can use a reaction to expend a use of your chaos burst to heal yourself for what you roll or deal damage to the target for what you roll..  Also at the end of a long rest roll on the chaos burst table for damage, whatever you roll you gain resistance to until your next rest.

Unnatural Chaos

14th-level Path of Natural Chaos feature

The chaos within you can burst into complete anarchy. Once per day when you enter your rage roll a d100, if you roll a 50 or above you have two rage builds happening at once, so roll twice on the table.
