Base Class: Wizard
Your love of knowledge and arcana is only rivaled by that of sleep. After many nights spent dreaming of mastering new spells and many mornings spent cleaning drool off of your spellbook, you've begun to master the art of Dormancy.
Dormancy Savant
At 2nd level, you are able to copy any scrolls into your spellbook in your sleep. Dormancy spells cost half as much gold to enter into your spellbook.
Well Rested
At 2nd level, you learn to reap the benefits of a full night’s rest. When you sleep for 8 uninterrupted hours, you may add your proficiency bonus to a skill or ability check in which you are already proficient in. You must declare that you are using this ability before making the roll. You can use this feature twice on the same day you completed the 8 hour rest.
Power Nap
At 6th level, you gain the ability to rejuvenate yourself during a short nap. Upon completing a short rest in which you spend at least thirty minutes sleeping, you may restore an additional spell slot less than or equal to your proficiency bonus. You can use this feature once per a short rest and a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier per day.
Lucid Dreaming
You have become accustomed to maintaining a level of concentration and control, even while sleeping. Concentration on your dormancy spells cannot be broken by taking damage or falling unconscious.
The Long Sleep
You’ve discovered the best thing to do when death knocks at your door, is to take a nap and pretend you aren’t home. At 14th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. As a defense mechanism, you fall into a deep magical sleep, similar to that of the feign death spell. You awaken at the end of your next turn unless awoken by other means. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
