Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who follow the path of the mage slayer despise any form of arcane casters, whether their intentions are good or not. Mage slayers believe that the world would be far safer and far better off without the constant use of magic, and seek to cleanse the world of magic users.
Magic Sense
You may cast the Detect Magic spell at will.
Mage Tether
At 3rd level, you can prevent a magic user from escaping your wrath. While raging, when you hit a creature that can cast spells, you may use your reaction to tether that creature in place. The creature’s speed becomes 0 and cannot leave its current place until the start of your next turn.
Anti-Magic Strike
At 3rd level, you have imbued your rage-fueled strikes with the power to slay a magic user. While raging, when you attack a creature that can cast spells, you deal an additional 2d10 force damage and that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration if it is concentrating on a spell.
Unstable Arcanna
At 6th level, you have learned to tamper with the same arcane energy that these cursed mages use. While raging, you may use your bonus action to teleport into an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet.
Arcane Eradication
At 10th level, you have channeled your rage into your path against the arcane arts. After you use the Mage Tether feature, you may immediately make another attack against that creature. This attack does not trigger the Extra Attack feature.
Mage Slayer
At 14th level, you have become truly dedicated to the elimination of all arcane practices. When you go into your rage, you may cast Antimagic Field on yourself. This spell lasts until your rage ends, or until you deactivate it using your reaction.
