Base Class: Barbarian
First time designing a subclass so give me feedback, would love to make this a legitimately balanced option instead of just a fantasy that monk didnt fulfill
Mighty Fists:
When you choose this Archetype at 3rd level, your unarmed attacks deal 1d6+ Strength Modifyer in damage. this die increases at 8th, 13th, and 18th level. Any barbarian abilities that effect weapons effect your unarmed strike as well
Assault and Battery:
At 3rd level, when you take the attack action while in a rage, you may make an additional attack as a bonus action
Brutal Strikes:
At 6th level, your unarmed strike bypasses bludgeoning resistance
Fearless Assault:
At 10th level, you become immune to the frightened condition and may move an additional 5 feet a round
Body of Stone:
At 14th level, you become immune to external movement effects (shoved, knocked down). In addition, you deal double damage to inanimate objects when attacking with your unarmed strike, and striking such an object does not harm you (you wont hurt yourself by punching a stone wall)

Posted Jul 9, 2025You want feedback? Well, it's been what, 7 years? Here is mine:
First, the bonus action attack. If you want this to be an unarmed build, maybe restrict this to an unarmed strike. That way, you won't have people with greatswords using this for an extra attack.
Second, the 6th level feature is underwhelming. Useful, yes, but oh so underwhelming.
Third, 10th level is niche and underwhelming. Frightened immunity is great, especially on a melee attacker, but that's really all I can say.
Lastly, 14th level is practically useless. Being immune to effects that shove you, or knock you prone is cool. But it doesn't help the subclass at all.
In essence: It has some good bones, but most of it is niche or plain useless in all but some niche scenarios.
