Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians that survive in the high, cold mountains, to the searing hot deserts, to the depths of the Underdark all use what surrounds them to survive. Those that follow this path survive by using the very rock and stone beneath their feet. They have adapted to use their hands and weapons as digging tools, the strength of their blows as methods to upend the dirt and rock, and shatter the foundations beneath the feet of their foes.

Broken Earth

At 3rd level, while in a rage, you can crack and fissure the ground beneath you. Once on your turn, as a bonus action, you can strike the ground at your feet. You can take this action as part of the bonus action to rage. The ground in a ten-foot square surrounding you becomes difficult terrain. Any creature caught in the ten-foot square must succeed at a Dexterity Saving or be knocked Prone. It takes one minute to clear a five-foot square to remove the difficult terrain. Your movement is not affected by difficult terrain created by this feature.

If an ability you use requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.

Mighty Burrowing

At 6th level, you gain a burrowing speed equal to half your movement. You can choose to leave a five-foot opening behind when you burrow or allow it to collapse. You are unable to burrow through solid rock.

Earthen Force

At 10th level, you deal double damage to objects and structures, thanks to the tremendous force you use to go through rock and stone.

When you hit an enemy with an attack, you can force them to make a Strength Saving Throw or be hurled 20 feet and knocked Prone. You can only use this ability once per turn.

Rock the World

At 14th level, your burrowing speed is now equal to your movement and you can move through solid stone without slowing. Moving through stone will always leave a five-foot opening behind you, unless in special cases.

You can now extend your range by digging up and hurling pieces of earth and rock at enemies. During your attack action, you can choose to swap one of your melee attacks out for a special ranged attack. This attack gains all bonuses from Rage and has a short range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. This attack deals 3d12 bludgeoning damage, which is considered magical for the purposes of overcoming damage resistances or immunities. If the target creature is flying or hovering, it must succeed at a Constitution Saving Throw or fall to the ground at a rate of 60 feet per round. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
