Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

An Oath of Oppression paladin is quick-witted and knows how to maneuver people into being on their side, and also a terrifying, nigh-inescapable foe on the battlefield. Whether through a deity or their own force of will, the Oath of Oppression paladin excels at controlling and shutting down dangerous targets.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Condemn. As an action, you impart judgement on a creature you can see. For the next minute, whenever you succeed on a melee attack against that creature, it loses its reaction, and does not regain it until the start of your next turn. If you fall unconscious or die, this effect ends.

Relished Execution. As an action, you can mark creatures around you for death. Each creature that can see or hear you within 30 ft. must make a WIS saving throw. On a failure, if the creature is slain within 30 feet of you in the next minute, you heal for an amount equal to your proficiency bonus.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of Devotion Spells

Aura of Oppression

Starting at 7th level, any creature you designate within 10 feet of you has its movement speed reduced by 10, and when it casts teleportation spells such as dimension door within it, it must succeed at a concentration saving throw versus your spell DC or the spell fails.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet and the speed reduction increases to 15 feet.

Unyielding Tyranny

Beginning at 15th level, your speed increases by 15 and you ignore difficult terrain when moving toward a creature that you have attacked, that has attacked you, or is affected by one of your channel divinities.

Oppressor of All

At 20th level, as an action, you can become a locus of terrifying, oppressive energy. For 1 minute, any creature within 30 ft. of you has its movement speed halved, magical bonuses to movement speed negated, and teleportation spells automatically fail. If a creature's movement speed is reduced to 0 while in this effect, it becomes paralyzed.

In addition, for the duration of the effect, you have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that did not attempt to attack you during its last turn, and those creatures have disadvantage on saving throws against your spells.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
