Bard
Base Class: Bard

For centuries, the wisest of sages have remained hidden in archives and libraries throughout the Multiverse. A trained few have been able to focus their learnings into a new school of creative magic, known as the College of Chronicle.

Such casters do not necessarily subscribe to music or performance, but rather, to the variable art of written works. Channeling magic through their ink, they are able to shape the world around them with careful and measured contortions of reality. Many such Bards work directly with gods or other primordial beings of even higher power, while others prefer a life of solitude and peaceful study.

Astral Script

Starting at the 3rd level, you can use your action to exhaust 1 bardic die and produce Astral Script. When you produce the script, you can choose to keep it or send it flying toward another creature. Whomever the target, they receive the effects of the script as soon as they touch it.

If a hostile creature is in the path that the script would take to reach its target, the creature may roll a DEX ability check with a DC 18 to catch the script and secure its benefits for themselves instead.

Script of Impact

Your next weapon attack does an additional [roll]1d12[/roll] force damage.

Script of Hide

You gain [roll]1d6[/roll] temporary hit points.

Script of Salve

You gain resistance to poison damage. The effects of exhaustion are alleviated for the next 5 minutes.

You can also choose a new Astral Script.

Until the end of your next turn, any successful attacks you make deal an additional 1d4 sychic damage.
