Base Class: Monk
Monks following the way of the Tech Fist spend countless hours tinkering and inventing and finding new ways to augment their physical abilities and metal discipline through technological enhancements. They build articulated gauntlets that can punch through solid stone, boots that can propel them into the air, and other devices that push the limits of what a normal body can accomplish. The most skilled among them learn to focus their inner flow of energy into the devices they create, pushing them beyond even what they were designed for.
Disciple of Artifice
At 3rd level when gaining this subclass you spend time learning how to craft and repair the tools you will use from now on. You gain proficiency in thieves' tools, tinker's tools, and one other set of tools of your choice. You may add your wisdom modifier to any checks made using any of the proficiencies gained by this feature.
Tech Gauntlets
Also at third level you learn to forge yourself a set of Tech Gauntlets that you can reconfigure as a bonus action in the following ways depending on the situation you may find yourself in.
Pummeling Fist: You configure your gauntlets into pummeling hammers. Your unarmed damage is bludgeoning, gain advantage on grappling checks.
Wicked Claws: You reconfigure your gauntlets into long claws. Your unarmed strikes deal slashing damage, you can make an opportunity attack against a creature within 5 feet of you if that creature attacks someone other than you.
Power Drill: You reconfigure your gauntlets into drills. Your unarmed strikes deal piercing damage, When you score a critical hit you may add an extra die of damage to the total, this damage is also doubled.
In every configuration the gauntlets deal double damage to inanimate objects such as walls or doors.
Rocket Boots
At 6th level you create a set of boots that increase your mobility significantly and allow you to focus your Ki into powerful effects. you can spend Ki to cast the following spells without requiring components outside of the boot themselves.
1 Ki: to cast Jump
3 Ki: to cast haste
5 Ki: to cast fly
Refuled Gauntlets
Pummeling Fist: When you hit with an attack you can choose to force a creature to make a strength save or be pushed 10 ft back and knocked prone. You have advantage on attacks on creatures that are larger than you.
Wicked Claws: the reach of your unarmed strikes extend to 10 feet, When you attack a creature a number of creatures equal to your wisdom modifier within 5 feet of your target take half damage if the attack would also beat their AC.
Power Drill: You can add your wisdom modifier to your attack rolls with this configuration, You critically hit on a 19 or 20.
Overcharge
At 17th level you can use an action to overclock the actuators of your gauntlets and boots allowing them to be pushed further and harder for time. By taking an action to spend 3 Ki point you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
1. You can add your wisdom modifier to all damage rolls made with your gauntlets
2. You have advantage on checks to maintain concentration on the spells cast using your boots
3. If you use the "Reconfiguration" bonus action you can make one extra attack with your unarmed strike.
