Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A desert viper emulates the speed and aggressive nature of a desert snake with extremely vicious precision. They are patient stalkers, who lie in wait for their enemies, but attack suddenly and without remorse.

Desert Ambusher

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn how to use the loose sands of the desert to camouflage yourself.

While you are within a sandy or desert-based environment, you can take the Hide action without needing cover, as you kick up loose sands to obscure your location.

Snake Bite

Starting at 3rd level, you are a master of striking suddenly and without warning. Whenever you move up to 15 ft. toward a creature while you are hidden, and then make a melee attack against it, your Sneak Attack deals an additional 1d6 damage.

Slippery Foe

At 9th level, you become elusive to the grasps of your enemies. Your movement speed increases by 10 ft.

You can spend 5 ft. of movement to automatically escape from nonmagical restraints, such as manacles or a creature that has you grappled, and you need only spend 5 ft. of movement to stand up from the Prone position.

Envenomed

Starting at 13th level, your attacks now carry with them the touch of poison. At the end of a long rest, you can make a small vial of poison from snake venom extract, which contains a total of 10 drops - each drop deals 1d4 poison damage.

Whenever you make a weapon attack, you can add any number of drops as part of the attack. A target hit by a weapon attack that takes poison damage from these drop becomes Poisoned for the next 24 hours.

You must finish a long rest before you are able to create more of this poison - whenever you create a new vial of this poison, any previous vials are destroyed.

Vicious Viper

At 17th level, you can strike with the violent speed of a pit viper.

If you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make two melee attacks against two adjacent creatures within range. These attacks can both benefit from your Sneak Attack - however, you must attack both creatures while standing in the same 5 ft. square for this ability to work.
