Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate control of magic comes from the manipulation of souls.

Soul Spells

1st-level Soul feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Soul Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level.

Soul Manipulation

1st-level Soul feature

You can manipulate the very essence of souls.

If you or another creature you can see within 60 feet of you fails an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll one Soul die and add the number rolled to the check, potentially turning failure into success. You expend the die only if the roll succeeds.

If you or another creature you can see within 60 feet of you passes an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll one Soul die and subtract the number rolled from the check, potentially turning the success into a failure. You only expend the die only if the roll fails.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest. At level 5, you regain any expended uses when you finish a short rest or long rest.

Your Soul die changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.

Soul Sorcery

6th-level Soul feature

When you cast any spell of 1st level or higher from your Soul Spells feature, you can cast it by expending a spell slot as normal or by spending a number of sorcery points equal to the spell’s level. If you cast the spell using sorcery points, it requires no verbal, somatic, or material components.

Soul Insight

6th-level Soul feature

Whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can choose two skill or tool proficiencies. You gain proficiency in those skills and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies. You lose this knowledge when you use this feature to choose a different proficiencies.

Soul Sight

14th-level Soul feature

At 14th level, you gain the ability to see into the souls of other creatures and discern their true intentions. You gain truesight out to a range of 120 feet, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks made to tell whether a creature is lying.

Enthrall Soul

18th-level Soul feature

At 18th level, you gain the ability to enthrall a creature's soul. You can use your action to touch an incapacitated creature. That creature is then charmed by you until a remove curse spell is cast on it, the charmed condition is removed from it, or you use this feature again.

You can communicate telepathically with the charmed creature as long as the two of you are on the same plane of existence.
