Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Whether you were born on the road or just adopted by it, the streets are all you know. The golden streetlamps are the only things that guide your path. Sound and fury fuel your rage and give you the strength to survive the harsh urban landscape. Armed with your street knowledge and turbo-charged chrome companion, you take on whatever challenge the city throws at you, grabbing life by the throttle. Whether you're fighting injustices or running the criminal underground, the rumble of your engine strikes fear into the any street scum that would dare to cross your path.

Fuel-Injected

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with land vehicles. While you're raging and on a land vehicle, the first creature you hit on each of your turns takes an extra 1d6 fire damage. When you enter your rage, you may summon a Steel Steed. You choose the appearance and number of wheels (2 or 4) for your Steed. If you choose 2 wheels, the Steed's speed is increased by 10 feet. If you choose 4 wheels, the Steed can carry one additional medium or smaller sized creature. The Steed cannot act on its own, and you must be in the vehicle to control it. The vehicle remains until your rage ends or until you dismiss it (no action required). If your Steed is lost or destroyed, you may not summon it again until you finish a short rest.

The statistics for the Steel Steed are available in D&D Beyond.

Motor Frenzy

Beginning at 6th level,  while raging and on a land vehicle, you gain a +1 bonus to AC and resistance to fire damage.

Additionally, you can cast Find Vehicle at 2nd level as a ritual once per long rest.

Drive-By

While raging and on a land vehicle, as a bonus action the wheels of your Steel Steed ignite. For 1 turn, your movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks. Additionally, when you move within 5 feet of a creature or an object that isn't being worn or carried, it takes 1d6 fire damage from your trail of heat. A creature or object can take this damage only once during a turn.

You can use this feature once per rage.

Kamikaze

Starting at 14th level, you can cause massive destruction with your vehicle. As a bonus action during your rage, you can dismount your Steel Steed and cause it to drive up to 60 feet in a straight line and combust in a massive explosion of flame. Each creature in a 20 foot radius must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 10d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The target is then thrown 10 feet away from the point of the explosion and falls prone. the fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
