Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A barbarian is capable of many things. One skill they frequently excel at is striking fear into the hearts of their opponents. Barbarians on the Path of Fear do so to an even greater extent.

As one following his path (often called Fearmongers), you find yourself imposing your will upon those who stand in your way. Your presence itself is a threat: get in the way, and pay the price.

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency in the intimidation skill, if you don't already have it. You proficiency is double for this skill.

Dreadful Rage

Your anger and aggression causes hostile creatures to quake with fear. When you enter into a rage, every creature of your choice within 15 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw (save DC equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, that creature is frightened of you for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its subsequent turns, ending the effect early on a success.

You can use an action to repeat this effect, but can only do so a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Imposing Will

At 6th level, you use your abilities to distract hostile creatures from hurting your compatriots. As an action, while raging, you release an ear-piercing shout. Each creature that can see you within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be deafened for one minutes. In addition to this, they have disadvantage on their next attack roll if that attack targets a creature other than you.

You can use this action once each time you rage.

Fearmonger's Fury

When laying low those who find themselves at odds with you, those frightened of you are subjected to painful terror. Whenever you kill a creature, you can use your reaction to make every creature that is frightened of you that can see you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they are shaken to the core, taking 2d6 psychic damage.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Fear Incarnate

You use the fear in the hearts of others to fuel your triumph over death. As long as there is one creature that is frightened of you and you are raging, whenever you would be reduced to 0 hit points, you are instead reduced to a number of hit points equal to how many creatures that are frightened of you, your rage ends, and the frightened effect ends on any creatures that were frightened of you.

You can use this feature once per long rest, unless you permanently reduce your hit point maximum by 1d12. Nothing short of a wish spell can undo this reduction
