Way of Found Family

A monk of Way of the Found Family focuses on protecting their party and regards them as their family.

Protection from Harm

3rd-level Way of Found Family feature

When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your Reaction to impose disadvantage on the Attack roll.

Helping Hands

3rd-level Way of Found Family feature

As a bonus action, you can use at least one, and at most five, ki points to heal a creature within 10 feat. The amount of HP you heal is equal to your WIS modifier + the number of ki points you used.

At level 12 in monk, you can heal creatures within 20 feat.

At level 18 in monk, you can heal creatures within 30 feat.

Thicker than Blood

6th-level Way of Found Family feature

When you’re within 5 feet of an ally on your turn, you can spend one ki point to switch places with that ally as part of your movement, provided you spend at least 5 feet of movement. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks. In addition, roll a your martial arts die. Until the start of your next turn, the ally gains a bonus to AC equal to the number rolled.

Aura of Love

6th-level Way of Found Family feature

Whenever you or a friendly creature within 10 feet of you must make a saving throw, the creature gains a bonus to the saving throw equal to your Wisdom modifier (with a minimum bonus of +1). You must be conscious to grant this bonus.

At level 12 in monk, this aura expands to 20 ft.

At level 18 in monk, this aura expands to 30 ft. 

Got Their Back

11th-level Way of Found Family feature

At level 11, you can spend 2 ki points to gain the following benefits on a single attack.

• When a creature within 5 feet of you makes an attack against a target other than you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
• When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.
• Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.

 You can use this feature multiple times per encounter.

11th-level Way of Found Family feature

You can use use 2 ki points to cast Warding Bond as an action. 

From Cradle to Grave

17th level Way of Found Family feature.

As an action, you can expend 4 ki points to cast Death Ward. 

 

 

Shield of Love

17th level Way of Found Family feature.

As a bonus action, you can expend 6 ki points to cast Fizban's Platinum Shield.
