Bard
Base Class: Bard

A bard who has studied the ways of the Feywild is able to call upon the echo plane's natural power and versatility. The brilliant power allows bards to suffuse their weapons with magic, create additional effects, and enhance the power of their spells. Though they rely on raw power and luck at first, their study allows them to gain more control over the forces and allow them to be a formidable threat on the battlefield.

Vivid Enhancement

When you join the College of Brilliance at 3rd level, you gain the ability to call upon power from the Feywild to enhance your capabilities.

Using a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration dice to enhance yourself with a magical effect. When using this ability, roll a D20 and use the chart to determine the effect. At level 6, you may roll 2 D20s and select which effect you wish to occur. If both numbers rolled are the same, the designated action will automatically become a critical success. At level 14, you may choose any desired effect instead of rolling for it. You may only do this once per long rest.

D20

EFFECT

01–02

You may change the damage type of the next attack or spell that you cast on the same turn that you activated this ability. You may add damage equal to a roll of your Inspiration Die.

03–04

You allow magic to surround you and temporarily increase you armor class. Until the end of your next turn, your armor class is increased by a roll of your Inspiration Die.

05–06

Fey magic surges through your body as a conduit of life-force. The next creature you touch, other than yourself, recieves healing equal to 2 rolls of your Inspiration Die.

07–08

Fey magic enhances the effect of your spell increasing its duration. The next spell you cast before the end of your next turn will have its duration doubled.

09–10

The Fey magic alters the time around you to speed up your abilities. You gain the effects of the haste spell until the end of your next turn.

11–12

Fey magic alters time around an opponent to slow them down substantially. Pick one enemy within 30 ft. of you. They suffer the effects of the slow spell until the end of your next turn.

13–14

The Feywilds themselves become the conduit of your next spell, relieving you of the need to maintain concentration. You may cast a spell that requires concentration as if it were a normal spell. In this way, you could have two concentration spells going at the same time. You may drop the effects of the spell whenever desired.

15–16

The Fey powers within you pull lifeforce out of an enemy and into yourself. The next enemy you attack before the end of your next turn takes additional radiant damage equal to 2 of your Inspiration die. You then gain temporary hitpoints equal to the amount of damage you deal.

17–18

Your potent magic alters the defenses of your enemy. You may lower their armor class by a roll of your inspiration die until the end of your next turn.

19–20

If you hit with a weapon attack or cantrip on the same turn as activating this effect, the attack does maximum damage. Additionally, add a maximum roll of your Bardic inspiration die.

Transfigured Form

At 3rd level, you learn to infuse the brilliance of the Feywild into your appearance.

As an action on your turn, you can transform into a brilliant shimmering visage of green and white light. During this time, enemy creatures within 30 ft. of you must succeed on a WIS saving throw or become charmed by you for 1 hour or until it or its allies are attacked or damaged by you and your allies. During this state, the affected creature cannot attack the charmer and the charmer has an advantage on any ability check to interact socially with the creature.

If the target succeeds on its saving throw, the target has no hint that you tried to charm it.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Words of Influence

At 6th level, you gain the ability to impose stunning weakness onto foes affected by your Transfigured Form. As a reaction, when a creature charmed by you attempts to take an action or move, you can cause it to make a CHA saving throw or become stunned until their next turn.

If the creature has both a lower intelligence and charisma stat than the charmer, then they roll at disadvantage for this effect.

Fey Surge

At 14th level, you gain the ability to incredibly enhance your abilities while in your transfigured form. You excel in fighting those under your sway and can keep enemies under your sway despite damaging them.

While in your transfigured form, you gain advantage on any spell or melee attack made against a creature that is charmed by you. In addition, charmed creatures roll DC saves at disadvantage if they come from you.

If you critically succeed on an attack against a charmed creature while in this form, the damage becomes radiant and deals maximum damage,
