Bard
Base Class: Bard

The College of Dance caters to bards with a propensity for communicating and enchanting through movement. They use their swift feet and perfect poise to guide and inspire others.

The Tiny Dancer

3rd-level College of Dance feature

When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Acrobatics and Athletics skills if you don’t already have them.

The Quick Step

3rd-level College of Dance feature

You can step effortlessly and use your dancing to move with unparalleled grace and speed, provided that you aren’t wearing medium or heavy armor or wielding a shield.

Your walking speed increases by 5 feet while you are not wearing medium or heavy armor or wielding a shield.

This bonus increases by 5 feet when you reach 6th level and again at 14th level in this class. At 14th level, you gain the ability to share this benefit with your Dancing Partner.

Dancing Partner

3rd-level College of Dance feature

At 3rd level, you learn to perform stirring displays of agility. You have learned how to lead others to move with grace and poise.

A creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you becomes designated as your Dancing Partner. So long as you and your Dancing Partner remain within 15 feet of each other, you gain the following benefits.

As a bonus action, you or your Dancing Partner can expend that die and multiply the number rolled by 5, to increase walking speed by that amount for that turn. This additional movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Alternatively, when an attack roll is made against you or your Dancing Partner, either of you can use a reaction to expend the Bardic Inspiration die and switch places with each other, provided you are within range and the other creature is willing and isn’t incapacitated. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks. Which ever creature replaces the other as the target of the attack gets to add the number rolled to its AC against that attack. You can declare this reaction after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it hits or misses.

Evasion

6th-Level College of Dance Feature

When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Inspired Defense

6th-Level College of Dance Feature

You are as in tune with the music of the battlefield as you are on a ballroom floor. You move with greater fluidity once freed from the trappings of armor.

Beginning at 6th level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.

Improved Dancing Partner

14th-level College of Bard feature

You are a master of the art of dancing. Your steps weave miracles and magic into existence.

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use one of the Dancing Partner options, you can roll a d6 and use it instead of expending a Bardic Inspiration die. Your Dancing Partner must still expend the Bardic Inspiration die in order to use those options. Additionally, the range of your Dancing Partner effect increases to 30 feet. Whenever the Bardic Inspiration die is expended to fuel a Dancing Partner ability; movement as a result thereof operates as though under the effect of the Freedom of Movement spell.
