Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You've always been good at dancing. It always came easy, and occasionally, sparks would fly.

A pyrodancer's power comes from the rhythm in their body, when they dance, the world comes ablaze in anticipation of an encore. They're rather rare, but if there's one around, you'll know about it. You may find that, as a pyrodancer, it's very easy to get an audience for your performances, just by virtue of how flashy they can be. You may also find that, the tavernkeeper might kick you out if you light too many things aflame.

A pyrodancer is incredibly powerful, especially if they're connected to glamour bards, or anything of the like.

Blazing Waltz

As an action or a bonus action, you may awaken the flames in your heart and leave a trail of flames behind you where you walk. These flames are magical, do not spread unless you wish them to, and only exist where you've previously stepped. Your Blazing Waltz can be dismissed as an action, and will last indefinitely until you do dismiss it. Should a melee attack hit whilst your Blazing Waltz is under affect, your attacker will take 1d4 fire damage (this applies if you touch someone as well). This increases as you level up, (1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 14th level, and 1d10 at 18th level).

Arcane Movement

You may use your voice, and/or your body whilst moving rhythmically, as a spellcasting focus. Your body does not need to strictly be dancing to be used as a spellcasting focus, you may just move your hands to match your somatics, or something of the like.

Ignited Rhythm

Any spell you cast that deals fire damage gains an extra d8 of damage. Any metamagic that affects damage rolls also affects this dice.

You may use one sorcery point per level of spell to add another d8 of damage, at a max of 2. (The max damage-boost increases to 4 points at level 14, and 6 points at level 18.)

If you are in touch-range with a ranged spell, you may use it as a melee spell. If it has an area of affect, it will still deal damage within that area, and possibly deal damage to you, if you're in it. Should you miss on a melee hit with this feature, the spell fizzles out and is wasted.

Incandescent Tango

While your Blazing Waltz is active, your movement speed is increased by 30 feet.

On top of this, you gain a resistance to fire damage.

If Blazing Waltz deals damage to an attacker, you may use your reaction to counter it with a 3rd level or lower spell, regardless of it's spellcasting time. It does not need to deal fire damage.

Scorching Dance Hall

Once per day, you may transform the ground around you in a 120 foot radius to a flaming dance floor. To this unfamiliar to this, they will take 1d6 fire damage every turn they stand upon the floor and aren't moving.

The floor itself will erupt in flames whenever a new creature joins it, or an existing creature ceases movement. This deals 3d10 fire damage, and can be buffed with Ignited Rhythm, this is categorized as a spell at 8th level. Any Metamagics applying to AOE spells may apply here, as well.
