Shadow in the Astral Sea

Warlocks of the Shadow in the Astral Sea focus around adaptability and infiltration, using their aberrant-like magic to render their bodies unbreakable and assail the minds of their foes. They usually seek to build cults to the Shadow throughout the realm, enticing their dark masters to this plane in order to achieve their twisted salvation.

Expanded Spell List

The Fiend lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Adaptable Body

Starting at 1st level, you can choose one damage type. You gain resistance to this damage type, and can change the damage type for this feature whenever you finish a long rest.

Bane of Mages

Beginning at 6th level, whenever a spell or magical effect forces you to make a Wisdom or Intelligence saving throw, before making the roll, you can use your reaction to automatically succeed. Once you have used this reaction, you cannot use it again until you have finished a short or long rest.

Inhuman Survivability

Beginning at 10th level, the adaptive capabilities of your body have become frighteningly efficient. You can choose a second damage type for your Adaptable Body feature. Additionally, if you do not have a climbing or swimming speed, you can spend a minute concentrating your power to gain one equal to your walking speed.

Mind Breaker

Starting at 14th level, you can choose to reach into the consciousness of an enemy and disrupt the flow of their mind. Choose a target within 60ft of you. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or take 6d6 psychic damage. If the target is concentrating on a spell, it has disadvantage on the save and immediately loses concentration on a failed save.
