Base Class: Artificer
A Dimensioneer is an artificer that specializes in manipulating space and time with their craft. They create bags that are bigger on the inside or share space with other bags, even when miles apart. They make cloaks that allow them to subtly shift into the Border Ethereal in order to hide or teleport, and eyewear that allows them to peer into the Ethereal Plane or at a remote location.
Tool Proficiency
3rd-level Dimensioneer feature
You gain proficiency with one of the following tools: Weaver's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, or Jeweler's Tools. If you already have proficiency in all three, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.
Dimensioneer Spells
3rd-level Dimensioneer feature
You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Dimensioneer Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Many-Handed Pouch
3rd-level Dimensioneer feature
You've learned how to make multiple pouches share one interdimensional storage space.
At the end of a long rest, you can imbue a number of pouches equal to your proficiency bonus with a shared space of the same capacity as a single pouch. A pouch operates as long as it is within 100 miles of another one of the pouches; the pouch is otherwise empty and won’t accept any contents. Only one pouch can be open at a time.
If you die or use this feature again, the effect ends and the items stored in the shared space move into one of the pouches, determined at random. The rest of the pouches become empty.
Dimensional Cloak
3rd-level Dimensioneer feature
Your experiments with plane-shifting magic have resulted in the creation of a magical cloak that allows you to very briefly enter the Border Ethereal, enhancing your tactics in combat.
At the end of a long rest, you can turn a cloak you are wearing into your Dimensional Cloak. This cloak grants the following benefits:
- You can add your Intelligence modifier to your Dexterity (Stealth) checks, and you can take a bonus action to Hide.
- When you are attacked by a creature within 10 feet of you that you can see, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
- When you attack with a magic weapon, you can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity modifier, for the attack and damage rolls.
These benefits do not function against a creature that can see your location in the Border Ethereal.
The cloak continues to be your Dimensional Cloak until you create another one or die.
Teleporting Strike
5th-level Dimensioneer feature
While wearing your Dimensional Cloak, as an action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space that you can see, expending of 2 feet of movement for each foot you travel.
After teleporting, as part of the same action, you can make one melee weapon attack against a target within reach. On a hit, the target takes an extra 2d8 force damage.
The extra damage dealt by this attack increases as you gain levels in this class, to 3d8 at 9th level, 4d8 at 13th level, and 5d8 at 17th level.
Remote Viewing
9th-level Dimensioneer feature
You've crafted an item, maybe a pair of goggles or a monocle, which allows you to see into the Ethereal Plane, as well as see or hear the goings-on of a remote location.
You can cast See Invisibility and Clairvoyance using this item without expending a spell slot. Once you cast a spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest. You can also cast it using spell slots you have of the appropriate level.
Optimized Teleportation
15th-level Dimensioneer feature
You've optimized your Dimensional Cloak's capacity for teleportation. While wearing the cloak:
- Teleporting Strike now only costs 1 foot of movement per foot traveled.
- Whenever you take the Hide action, you can also teleport to a space you can see, expending 2 feet of movement per foot traveled.
- You can cast Dimension Door using the cloak without expending a spell slot. Once you cast the spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
