Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Kasim Min-hajama has created the Order of the Warden in order to protect what he holds dear. Time will tell whether or not the abilities he develops will be used for their intended purpose...

Rites of the Aegis

3rd-level Order of the Warden feature

You gain the ability to manifest specialized rites which may be placed upon a shield. When you do so, choose one of the following rites: Sentinel or Sentry. The rite you choose grants you special benefits while active.

Sentinel

This rite strengthens your ability to guard your allies in battle. It has the following features:

Crimson Ward.  As a reaction, you can project a Crimson Ward to reduce damage being done to your allies. You roll a hemocraft die and take damage equal to that rolled on the die. Choose an allied creature, within 30 feet of you, that you can see, that is taking damage. The damage is reduced by your roll on the hemocraft die + your constitution modifier.

The number of hemocraft die that you roll increases to two at 11th level.

Protective Rite. You gain resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage while this rite is active.

Sentry

This rite gives you the ability to defend your surroundings against hostile creatures. It has the following benefits:

Crimson Charge. When you move at least 10 feet in a straight line before attacking a hostile creature, you can also choose to take damage equal to a roll of your hemocraft die as well. When you do, if the attack connects, you can choose to also either knock the target prone or push the target 10 feet away from you.

Swift Hunter. Your walking speed increases by 5 feet.

Vigilant Rite. You cannot be surprised where you are conscious and you gain a bonus to initiative equal to your proficiency bonus.

Preternatural Conditioning

3rd-level Order of the Warden feature

When you join this order at 3rd level, your body is bolstered against threats. Your hit point maximum increases by 3 and increases by 1 each time you gain another level in this class.

Warden's Bane

7th-level Order of the Warden feature

At 7th level, your ability to track otherwordly creatures is improved. You gain a bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) equal to your Intelligence bonus and you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to detect fey, fiends, or undead that are hidden from you.

Arcane Embolism

7th-level Order of the Warden feature

At 7th level, your constant sacrifice has helped you to hone your use of your hemocraft magic. Whenever you use one of your Blood Hunter features that requires you to roll a hemocraft die and deduct hit points, you only lose half the amount.

Brand of Anemic Deterrence

11th-level Order of the Warden feature

Upon reaching 11th level, your Brand of Castigation feature now corrupts the blood within a creature causing it to become fatigued. A creature branded by you, on its turn, must choose between taking its movement or an action.

Rite Mastery

15th-level Order of the Warden feature

At 15th level, your mastery of your hemocraft magic has given you the ability to manifest both your Rites of the Aegis at once.

Blood Curse of the Martyr

18th-level Order of the Warden feature

At 18th level, your constant sacrifice has made your blood innately protective.  As a bonus action, you can choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you to ingest your blood.. For the duration of this curse, any damage that the creature would take is instead done to you.

Amplify. The curse lasts for 1 minute. You gain resistance to the damage you take from this feature.

Activating a Blood Curse requires a use of your Blood Maledict feature.
