Base Class: Monk
The Way of Fire students train their mind and body to interact with and control fire. Many masters will spend years meditating inside volcanoes to further become one with the element. When focusing their ki, they are able to use the aggressive and merciless nature of fire to dominate their opponents. Most masters are covered with burn marks from their harsh training.
Flame Palm
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to summon fire. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki point to light your hands on fire for 1 minute. Whenever you take the attack action while your hands are on fire, you may take an additional an additional attack as part of your action that does fire damage equal to your martial arts die.
Flame Control
At 3rd level, you gain greater control of fire. You gain access to the cantrips produce flame and control flames.
Student of Fire
At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage.
In place of one of your attacks, you can spend from 1 up to your proficiency bonus in ki points to blast out fire in a 15ft. line. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw, and it takes 1d8 fire damage per ki point spent on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Weakness of Fire
At 11th level, after studying fire for so long you learn how to make it affect creatures that have resistance or immunity. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki points to make a target you can see within 15ft. lose resistance or immunity to fire damage until the end of your turn.
Fire Storm
At 17th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.
As an action, you can spend 5 ki points and create a storm of fire for 1 minute in a 10ft. radius centered around you. Whenever a creature enters the area for the first time or starts their turn in the storm they will take 3d8 fire damage.
