Umbra Magic

From the Shadow Fell came the Umbra Magi. Split into two groups, the ones who pulled magic from the Shadow Fell are called the Shadow Casters, while the other group called the Shadow Weavers, who pulled magic from the Shadow Weave a dark magic made by Shar that is a kin to the weave made by Mystra.

Most of the Umbra Magi are either Drow or Shadar-Kai, but the way of the Umbra Magi have been spread though rare.

 

Living in Shadows

Umbra Magic level 2 feature

Living in the shadows have improved your vision, and made you almost become one with the shadows.

you gain 60ft of Darkvision and profession in Stealth.

Draped in Shadows

Umbra Magic level 2 feature

As a bonus action you pull in the shadows around you, draping you in shadows for 1 minute. You gain the following benefits for the duration.

• You gain temporary hit point equal to 1d10 + your wizard level.
• You can are immune to the frightened condition.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Shadow Wrap

Umbra Magic level 6 feature

You gain resistance to necrotic damage.

In addition when you or a friendly creature you can see up to 60ft away are being attacked, you can use your reaction to give the attacking creature disadvantage for that attack.

You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Umbra Cloak

Umbra Magic level 10 feature

While Draped in Shadows is active, the darkness clings to you giving you these benefits.

• You reducing bright light to dim light and dim light to darkness in a radius of 10ft around you.
• You can see in magical Darkness out to the maximum range of your darkvision.

Umbra Lord

Umbra Magic level 14 feature

When you use Draped in Shadows you give up to 6 friendly creatures you can see in a 30ft radius from you gain these benefits for 1 minute.

• Resistance to necrotic.
• Advantage against being frightened.
