Base Class: Bard
Whispered of in hushed tones in the assemblage of warrooms or tactician's gatherings, the College of Espionage is one trained to get information by almost any means necessary. Bards are notoriously good at discovering secrets few others know, and at getting into all manner of places all around the world that others would not have access to. The College of Espionage are the masters of this in the utmost, serving as spies, infiltrators, and information gatherers in ways others can hardly match. Masters of disguise, and impersonators capable of great acting prowess, these expert spies are also highly capable of using their magic for additional subversive purposes to compliment these goals. Not only can they magically infiltrate as they may need, they are also capable of "recording" audio and visual patterns and replaying them exactly at later times with illusions, enabling them to capture every nuance of an encounter. At their best, these master spies can virtually vanish beyond any ability to be sensed, noticed, or detected by any form of sensor.
Infiltrator
3rd-level College of Espionage feature
At 3rd level, you have been trained in being unnoticed when you need to be, and noticed when you want to be. You gain proficiency in Stealth and you double your proficiency bonus for all Stealth rolls. Performace (Acting) rolls you make that roll 9 or less are treated as if they had rolled 10, instead.
Perfect Disguise
3rd-level College of Espionage feature
At 3rd level, you learn the secrets of magical disguise and how to convincingly sound like anyone you choose to emulate. You learn the Disguise Self spell and can cast it once without expending a spell slot before you must finish a short rest to cast it this way again. When you cast this spell, Investigation checks to determine the truth of the illusion have disadvantage.
Additionally, you learn the Minor Illusion cantrip and you cast it without material components. If you use it to create the sound of someone else's voice, you may speak in that voice seamlessly for one minute before you must cast this cantrip again.
Recorded Illusion
6th-level College of Espionage feature
You have been trained in a special form of memory practice, which enables you to remember scenes you see and hear with precise detail and then project those outwardly as an illusion to recreate that scene for others. You can accurately recall anything you have seen or heard within the past year.
Additionally, you learn the Major Image spell and you may cast it once without expending a spell slot before you must finish a long rest to cast it this way again. Also, you can use the spell to recreate any scene that you have witnessed with exact detail, within the 20 foot cube area of the spell for its 10 minute duration. You may choose to have this illusion demonstrate one unmoving perspective of an area that fits the spell's area, or you may create an illusory zone in the spell's area that shows all such area centered on you and where you were and what occurred around you during the duration of the spell and the course of the memory you recreate.
Undetectable Elusivity
14th-level College of Espionage feature
At 14th level, you learn the ultimate technique of infiltration, the secrets of utter invisibility, and the unique ability to weave extra magic into castings of potent invisibility spells to become undetectable even to magical means and completely silence their movement. You learn the Greater Invisibility spell, and you can cast it once without expending a spell slot before you must finish a long rest to cast it this way again. Also, whenever you cast Greater Invisibility, it has "At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 5th level or higher spell slot, all sound the target makes during its duration is negated and the target can't be targeted by any divination magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors."
Additionally, you can perform a remarkable vanishing feint, distracting a foe with illusory magic and weapon flourishes until it no longer sees you. You can use a bonus action and expend a 1st level or higher spell slot on your turn to perform a vanishing feint, choosing one creature within 5 feet of you as your target. You become invisible to that target until you successfully deal it damage or until the beginning of your next turn.
