Wizards that choose the school of the Circle are masters at creating a special bond between them and someone else, that boosts the powers and abilities between them and that person beyond what they would normally be able to do otherwise.

Ritual Savant

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a spell with the ritual tag into your spellbook is halved.

Wizard's Circle

Beginning at 2nd level, you can create a powerful bond with another creature. At the end of a long rest, you choose a creature to be part of your circle. The creature gains a magic symbol that appears somewhere on the creatures skin in the shape of something that is personal to you. Common shapes include a star, moon, astrological sign, deity's symbol, feather, wand or staff, paper and quill or a spellbook. Whenever you cast a spell with a range (including touch) creatures in your circle are considered valid targets for your spell.

In addition, whenever you cast a spell that targets a creature in your circle, you or that creature gains temporary hit points equal to half your wizard level, rounded down.

Unbroken Circle

Starting at 6th level, your circle has formed a stronger bond. Whenever you are concentrating on a spell, you and creatures in your circle gain +1 to their AC. If you are concentrating on a spell that is targeting a creature in your circle, the bonus is increased by an additional +1.

Warded Circle

Beginning at 10th level, your bond with those in your circle has strengthened your resolve even further. Whenever you or a creature in your circle fails a saving throw (including death saving throws), you can use your reaction to make it a success instead. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus which you regain after a long rest.

Circle Maturity

Starting at 14th level, you have mastered the art of circle magic, and can now have one additional creature in your circle at a time.
