Base Class: Sorcerer
Spirits and emotions run high and freely in the unfettered expanse of the Feywild, and just as quickly as affections and gifts are earned they may find themselves revoked by means of mischief, abrogation or faltering fancy. Whether born from the union of a mortal and a powerful fey entity, or simply a bloodline blessed from afar for a purpose yet undetermined, Fey Favoured Sorcerers are often as willful and free spirit as the plane of existence that acts as the source of their power.
Feywild Magic
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Fey Favoured Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the bard spell list or the sorcerer spell list.
Feywild Spells
| SORCERER LEVEL | SPELLS |
|---|---|
| 1st | charm person, faerie fire |
| 3rd | enthrall, lesser restoration |
| 5th | hypnotic pattern, plant growth |
| 7th | compulsion, hallucinatory terrain |
| 9th | awaken, dominate person |
Potent Perspicacity
Starting at 1st level, your knowledge of common tricks and deceptions grants you an aptitude at prying out true meanings behind the words and deeds of those around you. You gain proficiency in Wisdom (Insight) ability checks, and can double your proficiency bonus when using this skill.
In addition, you can speak, read and write Sylvan.
Child of Change
Beginning at 6th level, the source of your power starts to shift in subtle ways with the passage of each day. Just as Srar, the Deity of Change moves between the seasons on a whim, you can change your seasonal conjuncture at the end of a long rest, and in doing so may take on cosmetic alterations to your appearance upon arising. Those aligned to Greencrown may awaken with a beard of blossom-like petals and a rose-pink hue in their cheeks, whereas those aligned with the depths of Whiterose may take on a paler colouration, as well as their extremities taking on a near-translucent ice-like shimmer. The autumnal warmth of Amberlight might give hair that shines like golden barley, whereas those linked to Highreign may leave a trail of harmless flame for a few seconds wherever they tread.
Each season grants you boons as detailed in the Seasonal Conjuncture Benefits table.
Seasonal Conjucture Benefits
| Season | Resistance | Skill Advantage |
|---|---|---|
| Greencrown/Spring | Radiant | Nature |
| Highreign/Summer | Fire | Intimidation |
| Amberlight/Autumn | Thunder | Investigation |
| Whiterose/Winter | Cold | Survival |
Crincum-Crancum
Whimsy dictates your every move, for even your spellcasting seems to possess a whimsy of its own. Once you reach 14th level, immediately after casting a spell of 1st-level or higher, you can choose to teleport to an unoccupied space within 30 feet that you can see.
When you use this ability you can expend sorcery points to increase its range, granting an additional 10 feet for every sorcery point expended.
Enthralling Expression
Starting at 18th level, you can spend 6 sorcery points as a bonus action to heighten your connection to the spirits and entities of the Feywild to further empower your abilities. In this form, you are immune to being charmed, frightened or put to sleep. In addition, whenever a creature within a 15 foot radius of yourself makes a saving throw against an enchantment or illusion spell you can choose to grant advantage or impose disadvantage on the roll.
Your Enthralling Expression lasts 1 minute, but ends early if you are incapacitated, if you die, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action.
