Base Class: Ranger
placeholder text because writers block :(
Persecutor
At 3rd level you begin your endless hunt for any and all who wield magic against your fellow common folk and gain the Detect Magic spell for free. Additionally, you may choose to replace your current Favored Enemy granted by your class feature with Spellcasters or select Spellcasters at 6th or 14th level.
Spellcasters are any creature that makes use of Spell Slots, Cantrips, or is otherwise capable of making spell attack rolls.
Silvered munitions
Additionally at 3rd level you imbue your weapon strikes with the purifying power of silver. Any attack you make against a Spellcaster or a creature that has the Shape changer trait will be dealt an additional 1d4 damage of your weapons type.
The damage of this feature increases by an additional 1d4 at levels 7, 11, and 15.
My Enemy
Upon reaching 7th level you gain a greater understanding of your enemies weaknesses. While in combat, whenever you first enter within 15 feet of a Favored Enemy, you must roll a d4. The number rolled by the d4 is then added as a bonus to your next attack roll.
If there are multiple creatures marked as Favored Enemies; you will roll an additional 1d4 per Favored Enemy and each rolled number is stored until you make an attack action, at which point you will expend one rolled d4 of your choosing. If there are any d4 remaining once combat ends, they will immediately be discarded.
You cannot gain a d4 more than once per Favored Enemy.
Provisions
At 11th level you gain one of the following features of your choice:
Null oil
At the beginning of your turn, you are able to declare the usage of Null oil and coat your weapon or a piece of ammunition in an ichorous substance with antimagic properties. Afterwards, on your next successful weapon attack, your target will be forced to roll a Constitution saving throw or be Silenced for 1 minute and take 2d6 Psychic damage or half as much damage on a success. This feature can be used 2 times per long rest.
The damage of this feature increases by an additional 1d6 at levels 14, 17, and 20. This damage is in addition to the damage dealt by your weapon attack.
Wax seal
Your armor is decorated in wax seals made to counter magic. As a reaction you are able to declare the usage of Wax seal. Upon doing so the next ability requiring a spell attack roll that hits you will have its damage halved automatically. If it is a spell requiring a saving throw (I.E. Fireball) and you succeed, its damage is completely negated instead of halved. This feature can only be used 4 times per long rest.
Hammer of the Witch
Starting at 15th level you harness your enemies vile magic and turn it against them. As an attack action, you are able to declare the usage of Witch Hammer. At which point a target creature that you can see within 40 feet must succeed on an Wisdom saving throw or they will have a Trait of your choice disabled for 1 minute.
This can only be used once per long rest.
