Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Myths have a keen interest in pushing the extent of mortal knowledge by advancing the world's understanding of the most elusive and mysterious creatures in the realms. As such, they have amassed a vast array of knowledge on the culture, behavior, and powers of rare beasts known by few and seen by fewer. In their quest to unravel the mysteries surrounding these creatures, and to separate fact from fiction, Bards of this college have found that their understanding of these ancient beasts has led them to imbue some of their abilities into their own magic. Whether through the telling of the ghastly deeds of the Oni beside a campfire, or mimicking the charming songs of the Siren, members of this college have found that in their quest to learn more about these Myths, the powers and abilities they've gained have made them quite the legends themselves.
Myth Fanatic
When you join the College of Myths at 3rd level, your dedication to learning more about the Myths of the world have caused you to master the skills necessary to track and observe these creatures, should you ever encounter them, safely from afar.
Call of the Siren
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to mimic the songs of the Siren to charm others. As an action, all creatures that can hear, but not see, you within 50 ft. must make a Wisdom 14 saving throw. On a failed save, all creatures that can hear you become Charmed and must immediately begin walking towards you. When you stop the song, or when the creature sees the source of the singing, the effects wear off. They make this save with advantage if they are currently in combat. On a successful save, the creature is alerted to your location but is not Charmed and does not have to walk towards you. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.
Roar of the Yeti
At 6th level, your knowledge of the magic within a Yeti's roar allows you to replicate a version of it. You can add Ray of Frost as a bard spell to your known spells. Additionally, enemies hit by your Ray of Frost become Restrained until the start of your next turn. This cantrip does not count against the number of bard spells you know.
Growl of the Oni
Starting at 14th level, your knowledge of the Oni and its ability to take advantage of weakened targets grants you access to a magical roar and the capability to resist such effects. Whenever you Stun, Restrain, Charm, Frighten, Paralyze, or Incapacitate a creature, you can immediately cast a Cantrip as a Bonus Action. Additionally, whenever you would be Stunned, Restrained, Charmed, Frightened, Paralyzed, or Incapacitated, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add double the number rolled to your saving throw. You can choose to do so after you roll the die for the save, but before the DM tells you whether you succeed or fail.
