Base Class: Sorcerer

Elven purebloods are individuals that get their powers from the purity of their elvish blood. The ancient ancestors of modern-day elves were creatures of great power, and Elven Purebloods emanate, at least in part, the wonderous abilities of these ancient beings. All Elves display their Elven Ancestry, but Elven Purebloods show something more potent. Elves as a race have a very colorful and intricate racial history. However, to become an elven pureblood, a player can be a member of any race; however, at some point during their long ancestry, the power of great fey beings was bestowed upon their family, through inbreeding or a magical gift.

Innate Knowledge

At first level, you gain proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow, as well as light armor. If you already have proficiency with all of these weapons, you can choose four additional weapons to gain proficiency with. Additionally, you gain the ability to cast one cantrip from the wizard spell list.

Spell Snipe

Also at first level, if you cast a spell that deals damage to a single target and requires an attack roll, you can invoke the spirit of your supernatural ancestors. If your attack misses, you may choose that the target takes half damage anyway. No additional effects are triggered. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it until you take a long rest.

Spirit Bow

At sixth level, you gain the ability to summon a spectral bow and fire a single shot at your enemies. As an action, you can spend 4 sorcery points to make a ranged longbow attack roll against a single target within 600 ft; on a hit, the target takes 8d8 force damage, and every creature within 5 ft takes 2d8 force damage.

Ancestral Anchery

At fourteenth level, you can summon your spectral bow to focus and direct your spells. If you cast a ranged spell that requires an attack roll, you can add your Dexterity modifier to hit and damage rolls. Additionally, you can choose to make the damage type force damage instead of the damage type the spell would normally deal.

Pureshot

At eighteenth level, when you use your Spirit Bow ability, you may choose to spend 6 sorcery points instead; if you do, the attack automatically hits, and the target loses resistance to force damage if they have it. Additionally, whenever you use your Spell Snipe feature, the target takes full damage. Additional effects are still not triggered.
